That's a great description you have. I dislike the truck personally, but I can appreciate when car/truck enthusiast are excited and passionate about something, especially when they are self aware and understanding of others criticisms.
Reason I don't like the truck? I'm stuck driving a F650 supercab with a 16 foot stake dump body... It was cool at first, it and a GMC T6500 are the largest trucks I've ever driven, but now it's just a part of my work.
"7) It tows anything that is towable" I have to agree with that. Pretty much anything short of a tractor trailer. The most I've towed is a 28', 6 wheel, beaver tail with a mid sized Backhoe on it.
Planning on getting one of these in GTA 5.

Hello there. The 650 has a full 8' longbed on it. It's used for towing a 3 axle snowmobile trailer. It is not a dually. They do build 650's that are though. Thank you for the compliments. :-) You seem like a respectable young person.

Love the truck. Being a Ford guy I am quite envious. Why no interior shots? Like the fact that the exhaust system in under the truck rather than some overstated chrome stacks like so many have. Engine, HP and trans info? Mine will have to wait until I hit the lottery. Great truck.

@17cusTom I have an F150. My family used to have vans. While I love vans like the econoline and such, owning a truck is really a lifestyle. You love it, keep it clean and keep it in tip top shape. You can modify it if you want but at the end of the day you'll be proud of owning one. Nothing else is quite like it owning a vehicle with personality. Not necessarily a new one but my 20 year old truck has plenty of that and it's my pride and joy

@17cusTom I meant that as a truck person. I have one myself. Sure it uses lots of gas but you can go anywhere, put anything in the back, carry lots of people or even camp in it. It's an all purpose machine. I like cars too but I love the utility of trucks

I love my FJ man, but gotta say, this would be even better for some of my nasty weather commutes here in VT. Especially this winter. I'd even take one without such an extended cab, to get a nice square wheelbase. Nice rig!
Seriously? Ever take physics? This thing weighs as much as a house.. it would get stuck in a dusting of snow. Don't care if it has 203945863094586lb-ft of torque. Your FJ would rape it in the snow. Or mud. Or anything. When was the last time you saw a dakar rally, off-road course, etc run by a 10klb vehicle. Uh never. a 10klb object "at rest" REALLY WANTS TO STAY AT REST. Physics. Even if it started moving, it would quickly begin to SINK.
Don't get me wrong, this thing IS badass, and COULD tow the shit out of just about anything.. but it's worthless off-road and in snow, at least compared to any half decent AWD vehicle that weighs half as much.
Oh I hear ya, I just thought it was cool. I'd never blow the money on this thing.. LOL! You are spot on correct about the FJ too, because tried and truly tested, on two of our back roads, when we had flooding and serious mud, I watched several 4WD pickups get stuck, and I blazed right by them all in the FJ. Had to chuckle! ;) (I've watched them do better than the hummer as well, because, like you said, about weight, the hummer is much heavier too, and sinks quickly.

i have the hornblasters s540 with 200 psi upgrade, its awesome. but that horn actually really works well with that truck, very good choice. those horns should come stock with that truck

Love the rig. Its not all about practicality or economy. Some people like Ferrari's or Lamborghini's, but others like big trucks. This isn't much worse than buying a semi truck for running errands, right? And 6 mpg diesel is standard semi fuel economy, plus the practicality of 6 doors and a bed.
This truck is a real beast! I would like to own one...

The truck you are observing people is Alticity's Ford F650 the name appears inside the rear wheel well. The license plates read 1 J which in Idaho is Jefferson county in the town of Rigby. This truck has actually passed me many times on highway 20 going to rexburg.
That is the coolest and silliest truck I've ever seen. Definitely a toy for someone with deep pockets.

I have always been a Chevy man but now that I have seen the F650. I think I have found my next truck.
@DustinTurpin actually for the F650 and F750, the only two options available were the 7.2L CAT engine or the ISB Cummins. As the matter of fact, the 2011 F650/F750 has the 6.7L Cummins as the only diesel option now.
A F-650 single cab & a chassis, without a truck bed...simple 2 door truck is $53,000.
Add a Super Cab (6 door) & a truck bed from a F-350 dually with some different wheels & do a few more custom interior jobs you can boost the cost up to more than $70,000.

I drove my bosses one time and i'm not crazy about the push button gear select, changing gears feels cheap, but wouldn't be the factor in buying one. i'm glad this guy shows his off, my boss doesn't hes the type of guy who parks in the back, doesn't like to talk about it with everyone who stops him, to him it's just another truck.

What upkeep?? It's a Ford truck! The guy has never had it in the shop and he never will. Fuel burn rate? about the same as any vehicle that weighs 13,000+ pounds: 6-7 mpg. Any other questions?
