Music producer dies in Baltimore shooting

Baltimore police are investigating a shooting near Camden Yards that killed a man Thursday afternoon. Sky Team 11 captured the aftermath of a large SUV seen jammed into the side of a minivan behind a gas station in the 400 block of Russell Street. Police said officers were called around 2 p.m. for a car crash. They arrived and found Christopher Morton, 27, shot in the head inside the SUV. He died at a hospital. A friend of Morton, who asked to remain anonymous, told 11 News she is struggling to understand why he was shot in the head. She created a memorial for him in the area where police found him.
