I wish they would make a ride for jurrasic world where you go into those spheres they had in the movie. Just wrap screens around a sphere with movement, add more seats and give it some action and BAM! 😄
My best tips for this ride: Ride it last before the park closes because it will be darker so you can not see the electronics under the water. There is a gentle Florida breeze at dusk that sets the scene better. AND I have rode this several times being the only one in the boat! It's scarier by yourself :)

It only hurts if you tense up. If your stomach muscles are really tight and you are gripping the handle harshly it will hurt. I know from experience because I used to do it all the time. But once you let go and give yourself to the fall instead of desperately pushing against it, you feel fine.
As a Jurassic Park fan, i obviously love the ride. But my one nit-pick is that the dinosaurs dont have authentic jurassic park sounds, its all generic dinosaur noises. But still, awesome ride!

I like riding roller coasters like Kumba and Montu which have curved drops but I don't like steep drops that give you that upward feeling like your going to come off your seat. Would you recommend this ride for me? Oh, also don't mind the drop on Dudley Do Rights.
If I was a billionaire I would so open an amusement park based on movies and it would be fuckin ridiculously insane. People would cry when closing time came.
Did anyone hear about how right behind the triceratops encounter in islands of adventure they are creating a new ride and people believe it will be a jurassic park car tour where the car gets attacked by raptors and a trex, then it gets pushed off a cliff like in the movie!!

it seriosuly depends on when you go! the LA one was really short wait at the end of august-the park was only partially full then-i think cause alot of kids were back in school....
