Garageband is actually great for making music if you get really creative with it. It’ll never beat using actual instruments, but it can be very intuitive once you get used to it
@@matthewchunk3689 I’ve been using GarageBand for a decade or so and I’ve been able to release multiple albums and am in talks for a record contract. It’s been a fantastic tool, and is easy for beginners who might find music intimidating to get into. It’s especially helpful when you have the equipment to go along with it. I’m truly thankful to have GarageBand
Don’t get fooled by him using an app- this guy understands music theory deeply and timing of everything. Give him an instrument and he will be just as good. He’s a pro.
A lot of people just don't get Garage Band. Garage Band is meant for making musing and it is widely used by professionals. This app iPad or MacBook all you need to do is grab a USB-C cord, a MiDi cord a whole bunch of extensions and get recording and synthesizing voices with a guitar or keyboard.
Lol except the person that put this together probably plays everything. Definitely a producer of some sort that plays piano, guitar and bass and has extensive music theory knowledge.
@@456stormpegasus you're foolish if you think just anyone can compose these songs note for note without any kind of musical training/knowledge in music theory.
Carlos Pacheco As someone who has been listening to this song since the beginning of their life, I can tell you that this is plenty close to the original. Not to mention the fact that this was made with a free phone app.
The most impressive thing about you imo is the fact that you can manage to get these instruments to play at the right time. Whenever I try to use the instruments on Garage Band, I feel like there's a delay.
It’s probably easier to use the piano setting for the sound effects since it’s easier to visualize from there and you can switch from different instruments easily.
A lot of people are impressed with things like breaking down each instrumental part, but as a musician, what I'm impressed with is how knowledgeable you are regarding using this platform. The speed alone that you were switching through menus and applying your skill is mind blowing.
No he just one take these with one video clip, sure he’s been through it a few times! It’s very impressive either way it goes, just started dabbling back into production and didn’t realize what all I could do on the iPad
It’s not really music theory. Music theory is about scales keys and chords. He/she probably knows a good amount music theory but it’s more about music production than theory.
God I love garage band. I have an acoustic guitar and I’ve been recreating Tool tracks by running it through the different amps to create distortion, etc. Amazing that such a powerful app is free and readily available on any iPhone.

20% the tool and 80% the wielder. The right person on GarageBand can blow an inexperienced instrumentalist out of the water and vice versa.✌🏾
