Maybe some people want a DeLorean for its looks, not speed.
no offense intended here, but that episode was kind of a waste of time, the car broke down multiple times, then died completely. He should go back when it's all tuned up and let loose those 575 HP, or at least pour some gas on the ground and make some flaming tire tracks like in the movie

That car owes so fucking much to BTTF it's insane.
The old man mechanic should know that you can't run bad gas in a turbo motor... The more its run the worse it will be. The only proper fix is to drain, flush, swap filter and refuel.
Once this thing reaches 88 mph, you're going to see some serious shit.
