As someone who plays Vadrok in B03 in more of a Mutate-Focused shell (Sea-Dashers and Polliwogs), it happens 80-90% of the time for me where they sit there then concede after I pass (sometimes they try a spell that immediately gets countered by 1 of my 4 counterspells I have up).
Exactly...I see his showcased deck 10 times the night we posts a video. Then I watch Hello Good Game posting about it 1-2 days later claiming he made a brand new deck! Always feel like I want to give CGB and MTG Jeff props for crediting the deck idea. HGG just copy pastes content constantly without any acknowledgement.
@@MrTouchstone86 Idk why anyone would watch that guy, watched one or two of his videos and wasn't impressed. If you want a good other youtuber to watch, LegenVD is a much better choice, he either plays his own decks or the ones suggested to him patreon, and the content is really high quality.

I quickly noticed how much how just copy and pasted which is fine...but at least give credit. And his stupid "woof" and constant cat camera...jeeeeez. I'll check out that guy you mentioned.
Fun fact: there is a really interesting interaction between Vadrok and Double Major, where you can go infinite in mutations by mutating a Vadrok into himself while copying his mutation with Double Major.

this deck has like, the entire engine for my dragon storm deck. the combo quite literally puts any number of goldspan dragons with lifelink and first-strike on the field on every main phase after it combos off. (add cubwarden and mystic reflection to the current list to enable this nonsense.)
Oh wow. Jeskai Mutate has been my pet deck for a minute. I'm really happy to see a high-tier version of it make many of the same choices: Unsubstantiate, P Command, See the Truth, Goldspan… Makes me feel smart. Instant speed mutate is really nice, which is why I run Shoreshark and Sea-Dasher.

If you mutate Vadrok onto something, but Double Major, the copied version of Vadrok mutates and you can recast Double Major from the graveyard. It goes infinite and for every time you mutate, Vadrok triggers that many times. Just put a Dragon's Approach or a better burn spell in the graveyard and it's an infinite 3 card combo.
i wanted to give Sparky a bad time today, so i played a Voracious Hydra with 588 +1/+1 counters on it and then i wanted to power it up with Exponential Growth for X=48, but the Game didn‘t like that because it ended up with Power 0 😩
Mtga wont let me use unsummon. It says its not legal. What gives? Edit: Can somone explain how at 24:30, he casts unsummon? Is this not a standard video? Im am confusion.
I once played a whole gameday at my local store using fireball to kill delvers. In the top 4 someone was finally like, yo, thats not standard. I was new, someone helped me build my deck. And i prob plaued 20 games. No one ever said anything untill top 4 lol

I have to say as a Jeskai Combo player that this list feels so much better than what I run. The only critique I have is that I feel Unsummon would work better than Into the Roil, but that's just me. Prismari Command takes care of Artifacts and Enchantments aren't too prevalent in the current meta. EDIT: I also forgot to mention that I'm not fond of running Spikefield Hazard in the deck. I feel like Sea-Dasher Octopus would be better suited in the deck/
Not a fan of this one. Reminds me of the artifact Clark clan ironworks deck where your opponent plays solitaire until he goes off or misses and then it's game.
Im 100% certain wizards know what deck youre playing and intentionally puts you against your worst matchups. Way back when, i played a mill deck. Every single time I played that deck I would against 120+ card decks. As soon as i would play any other deck it was right back to playing against 60 card decks.

I've only just got into mtga and literally the only thing I'm playing against is mono white, rogues and the occasional mono red, I've always liked MTG because it felt like there was so much variety with viable decks, but for some reason everyone just wants to play the same 3 decks. Maybe it's because I'm only gold 3 and people are trying to rank up quickly? But it's definitely less fun than paper lol.
fi played vs such shit decks... you basically watch them juggle their cards for 15min and hope they fuzck up or don't but either way you pray the game to be over.
