Use the same 3m underliner spray. It helps with sound deadening from rocks and extends the life of the current liners. just make sure you mask off the tabs.

I recommend restoring your current fender liners, but stock up on new oem liners for the future

The manufacturer sprayed it like that to save weight! Mitsubishi focused on making the car light as possible!
