  • Over time, a vehicle’s undercarriage can become faded and discolored from road grime, dirt, road salt, and UV rays. The oil-based formula sticks to any surface for improved durability. Weather resistant coating protects against road salt while helping prevent undercarriage rust. Bare Bones keeps your undercarriage trim looking great while resisting road grime, dirt, dust, tar, and moisture. The oil-based dressing restores faded undercarriage and trim surfaces back to like-new condition. The sprayable dressing is designed for undercarriages, wheel wells, subframes, springs, suspension components, fender liners, and bumper covers. Bare Bones uses premium ingredients that finish with a dry-to-the-touch feel within minutes for easy application on virtually any vehicle.

    Question! I have been restoring a 2 door '68 Chrysler out of a friend's back yard lately. The whole front end has been completely rebuilt, from a stripped down and painted subframe to all new suspension components. It was a lot of hard work and I'd like to keep it clean! It did get dirty again from being exposed to the elements, and I'd like to give it a detail so it looks just as good as when we finished it.
    I was thinking about doing a spray down to knock off loose dirt, and then going over with All Clean to really tackle what's left as a first step. I am unsure of how I should protect the cleaned surface after though! Would using Bare Bones be a good way to protect and keep the frame clean? Or something more like HydroSlick? Really a tough decision!
    Going for the old school 70's lowrider look, and having a clean engine bay / frame beneath is important for me. Thanks for all the informative vids! Looking forward to keeping the car looking A1 with all your products.

      Hi there! Thanks so much for watching. Bare Bones can be used on suspension components and the frame to add gloss and protection with a simple spray. This will also keep it looking cleaner for longer while making it easier to clean in the future.

    Yo bro quick question I got some Aluminum rims and what do you recommend of your products to use? To give them a clean fresh look

      Hey Eddie! After cleaning the wheel, use Light Metal Polish to remove oxidation and restore a mirror-like gloss. Add HydroSlick to lock in shine and repel harsh elements.

    I can also use VRP instead of Bare Bones right?

    • @ChemicalGuys
      @ChemicalGuys  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hi there! It is perfectly fine to use VRP to enhance trim and undercarriage components.

    Bare Bones is always the last thing and it makes your tires and wheels pop….nothing looks worse seeing a truck that looks new with dirty liners….
