    DABKA NI KADI
    Moong dal dumplings cooked in a traditional Gujarati curd mixture, Dapka Kadhi served with rotlas, green chillies and garlic chutney is a sumptuous and satiating meal worth a million dollars!
    When making this dish, ensure that the dapka batter is sufficiently thick. First drop one dapka into the kadhi-if it floats up, it means it is perfect, and you can proceed with the rest. Else, adjust the batter by adding little more besan, or cook the dapkas in a microwave oven before adding to the kadhi.
    DABKA NI KADI
    • In Mixer Jar Add
    ½ cup Boiled Green Gram
    Rock Salt to taste
    2 Green Chilies
    Water as required
    • Grind and make smooth batter
    • In Big Bowl Add
    1 cup Gram Flour
    Rock Salt to taste
    ½ tsp Turmeric Powder
    ½ tsp Red Chili Powder
    ½ tsp All Spice Powder
    ½ tsp Kashmiri Mirch Powder
    ½ cup Steamed Curd
    • Mix it well
    • Heat Pot and Add-
    3 tsp Desi Ghee
    2-3 tsp Coriander Seeds
    2 tsp Cumin Seeds
    4 small Cinnamon Sticks
    6-7 Curry Leaves
    • Mix it well
    • Add Gram Flour batter & 1 cup Water
    • Mix it well & leave it for boil in low flame
    • Make small dumplings from Green Gram Paste and add in Kadi
    • In Small Pan Add
    2 tsp Desi Ghee
    ½ tsp Red Chili Powder
    ½ tsp Coriander Powder
    ½ tsp Cumin Seeds
    6-7 Curry Leaves
    • And make tempering
    For Presentation:
    • Pour Kadi in Pot
    • Garnish with tadka, Green Coriander, All Spice Powder and Red Chili Powder
    • Dabka Ni Kadi is ready to serve.
