Got this video recommended by TH-cam and boy, did they get it right! This happened only once before, when they recommended Double Dawg Dare, a channel from a couple, AJ and Kelli, and their children, flying an Aztec and based in Stuart, FL. I have watched all your video's and enjoyed them thoroughly. Count me in as a subscriber from The Netherlands and keep up the good work! Thank you for your trouble to make such entertaining video's!
Nice video. Enjoyed the tour. Nice airplane. I would love to eventually see a video on your cost of ownership, including how much you paid for it, what was the condition, what changes you made, etc... Well done. Fly safe.
Thanks! I own it with two other fantastic partners, one of them being an A&P which helps offset some of the maintenance cost. If you’re looking to own and know your mission, I highly recommend it. Thanks for following along!
Whenever I sub to a channel I like to go back and watch the early vids to see how much has changed... the Arrow has definitely benefited from some upgrades! Did you not get enough use out of the strikefinder to warrant keeping it?
Thanks for subscribing!!! Yikes, yeah the videos of the past (like any channel) are pretty cringe worthy! BUT the strike finder isn’t going anywhere and it’s a very useful instrument when flying IFR in the summer here in Florida.
Just a tip CFL if you have all your lights on in daylight you may not see your three greens when gear is selected down. Happened to me years ago and was heading for a gear up landing until I noticed. Crapped myself Lolz!!! But no harm done....blue skies.
The greens are very tough to see (even with them on full bright) when the sun is directly shining on them. I believe in a separate video I had to put a clipboard over the sun glare to see them. Enjoy the vids!!
It’s a 12 VOLT PORTABLE POWER SUPPLY WITH PIPER STYLE SINGLE PIN PLUG from aircraftspruce. We use it all the time when running the avionics on the ground. If you have a Piper with an external power port I suggest you get one of these
Crit Fish that’s ok, first videos are usually pretty bad anyways haha. Thanks for the feedback. A lot has been changed and upgraded since this. Check out my recent videos!
That CO detector is almost worthless. There are plenty of electronic detectors for around $100 that will save your life. Read some of Mike Busch on the topic.
I have been flying the Piper Arrow II for many years and what a great girl she is. Love the video. Love the colours ❤
“No acrobatic maneuvers” hahahahahahaa! I do it sometimes too. Easy to mix them up. Enjoyed the video man thanks

Thank you. Clear skies.
What is the warning light between the engine monitor and the vacuum gauge? Thx.
That is a low suction warning light. It’s a visual indicator that I’ve lost or am losing suction
I envy you that you can own and fly your own airplane, and a Piper Arrow at that. Congratulations!
