The battery I bought came as a kit with the right size screw drivers and pry bars. That was a big help, I recommend this approach if you don't happen to have this kind of tool on hand. Verify that the battery and kit are for the exact model phone that you have (of course).
hi I know this video about how to change battery on iPhone 4. I have the same model phone like you. Do you know where is this iPhone 4 sim card location? Other iPhone very easy to locate the sim card slot by using a paper clip push in and the slot pop up where sim card inside. Thanks Miller
is on the right side of the phone if looking down at the phone and charge port at bottom there is a small tray that you need to push a paper clip or push pin into (small hole) this will pop out the tray and you can insert the sim card :)
I had almost 10 years service from my Iphone 4 ... the battery has bulged but still working. Can't do anything else but the phone and basic SMS. Time to Upgrade.

@@metzen01 - Well, mine _was_ working - until now. It's now unusable as a phone (defaults to the welcome screen instead), and won't switch off. I was hoping to reset it by removing the battery, but it would appear that you can't do that without first switching off. So, kinda Catch 22 situation. Looks like I'm going to have to bite the bullet and join the techno-junkies of the 2020's.
Thanks, the video gave me the info to open the phone and replace the battery but dude, you have to watch the adjectives you throw out to describe a procedure. "Extremely easy" would be prying the back open with a slim object (like the side of a knife) lifting the old battery out and dropping the new battery in, then snapping the case back on. THAT is "extremely" easy. The fact you have to go to the internet and buy special tools before attempting repair (you should mention that, no one has a pentalobe screwdriver or spudger tool in their tool chest, a link would help) and use a jeweler's screwdriver to remove a tiny screw, lift off a delicate connector...blah, blah, blah...there are a lot of people who can't do this easily...so maybe describe the ease of doing this in a different, less misleading way.
@@jamiewagner I am a technical genius haha and I'm sure you are too but man, as a long time I.T. tech I make part of my living repairing equipment that people attempted to fix, thinking..."how hard could this be?". Take care.
Just push the off botton down for few seconds, when show the off thing in the screen slide out and done. Press the on/off botton again and small apple show, just wait until few seconds until the phone reset and turn on.
