Haven't you seen the video where Ronaldinho is playing voleyball with his feet? That video is mindblowing, show the Ronaldinho's magical talent 🤯🤯🤯👏👏👏👏
I am an old Parisian PSG ultra. When Ronnie played for us, he went out partying almost every night, came to training drunk, and yet he was the best player in the league. A beast.
IMO this only highlights how he was better than Messi and CR7. He won EVERYTHING in like 7 years, while they are still struggling to achieve the same titles 20 years later. None of them have a Libertadores de America or a Confederations Cup. Even Pele and Maradona have only some titles Dinho can display on his shelf.
Since i was a kid i have this theory that says "ronaldinho and R9 have the best ALMOST goals in history". They do one crazy play but the ball didnt go in the net
@mikedumoskero nah he cooked with this take, r9 is slightly overrated as a finisher, go watch old games not just highlights. He could dribble a whole team tho. Imo he has an argument as the greatest dribbler ever, it's different than messi but arguably more efficient. How he dribbles was unlike anything I saw and it created absolutely spectacular near goals basically every game
a couple of fun facts about Ronaldinho: his insane ball control is due to him playing futsal which is a type of football played in a smaller pitch with less players and since the space is so cramped, the ball control is necessary to succeed. Also, he had a problem with justice in my country and went to jail for some time and while in jail he played in a tournament for the inmates and he won that too.
you're so spot on about americans not appreciating how hard technical ability is, I'm not sure what it is either because it seems to run down to the national team too. Hugo Perez (who discovered pulisic) mentioned in an interview that he offered pulisic to many MLS clubs and they all rejected him because he was too small and not seen to fit the physical game that Americans usually play. America was always a kick and run team but even the old national teams have had some technical ability like dempsey and donovan, it would be interesting to see how American development would be when they start to focus on technical ability.
The one thing that Ronaldinho had that goes under the radar is his strength and size. He's actually kinda tall and is really strong, while Neymar may be compared to him in skill, Ronaldinho could take a lot more of a beating than Neymar.
The fact that you're giving it a proper go and actually playing it, understanding how incredible the skill these players actually have, with people trying to bump and tackle you, the ball wanting to bounce away all the time, but still appreciating the beauty of it and wanting to keep going is just super admirable man! Keep it up bro, love the videos! My favourite footy reaction channel by miles..
As PSG fans we also loves him because he was involved with the club and the city. He learnt french and would always come back to salute the supporters even after he left
I'm one of the guys who suggested you to practice a bit of football just in order to apreciate the difficulty of what you are seeing in the beauty of football video. Me as european and spaniard i have aquire this knowledge at 6 yeats old...so i understand all😊
Honestly some may say it's old school but i recommend that you start juggling the ball daily. It does help you get a feel for the ball and how to control the ball with different parts of your body👊🏾
brazilian here, i was born in the same citty of him, Porto Alegre-RS. I'm a fan of Internacional, one of two teams in the citty, Ronaldinho was Gremio's player when he started in futebol. But the incredible thing about us from Internacional, is that at when we won the world teams cup, was against Barcelona and Ronaldinho was playing that day. You all can search for "inter campeão mundial against Barcelona". The day that Ronaldinho lost for his first enemy in carrer.
On his peak years (mainly his Barcelona's period of time 2003 - 2008 and some of 2002 World Cup moments of him) Ronaldinho's Magic on the Field was unmatched in my opinion, him and Thierry Henry are my favourite living legends of football, because of them I started to fall in love with football world, they are part of my childhood..
Haven't you seen the video where Ronaldinho is playing voleyball with his feet? That video is mindblowing, show the Ronaldinho's magical talent 🤯🤯🤯👏👏👏👏
My way to loving futbol was watching Ronaldinho in his first season at Barcelona, I remember shouting very loud his first gol against Sevilla. I was a Barça fan since then until around 2015. I remember watching Messi's and Busquets' debuts. It was a great time for futbol, and it's great to see you loving it too. I think you should take a deeper look into Puyol, I don't know if you already have, but there are some good reason he was the captain of that team! Greeting from Chile
Non-brazilians got to see the amazing things Ronaldinho did, but it's difficult to express what it was like growing up in Brazil watching him play. There were certain things that were just chilling to see...for instance his first game in the seleção, he scored a goal exactly like one Pelé scored AND he celebrated EXACTLY like Pelé did. Everyone else saw it as an amazing goal, brazilians saw it as a Pelé reincarnation of sorts. It's hard to appreciate the feeling. I remember when he went to Barcelona. Jornal Nacional, which is the prime time national evening news in the country's biggest tv network, would show clips of something he did at a match. Not during the sports segment, mind you, as PART OF THE ACTUAL NEWS. It was insane.
And that's why he earned the nickname "the wizard of football" in Brazil, because after all this time until today, we haven't had anything close to being magical like he was when he was active
Ronaldinho played with a joy that made you want to watch the game. And if you enjoyed his early highlights, you should have a look at a video of JAY JAY OKOCHA highlights as well. JAY JAY (so good they named him twice) was already at PSG when Ronaldinho joined the team, and you can clearly see the influence he had on his game (though obviously Ronaldinho went on to greater heights). PSG were a fun side to watch back in those days as they tended to have younger or more fringe players that hadn't broken through yet, but were so talented. But yeah, definitely check out OKOCHA, some fantastic highlights. And like Ronaldinho doing the elastico to skip by players, Okocha did a drag over of the ball and a body swerve that was so confusing to defenders (and surprisingly isn't that hard to do well, especially if you have good acceleration from a standing start).
I like to use this example to people who dont understand why Football (not NFL) is so difficult, all the main american sports uses the hands: baseball, basketball, golf, football. It's all about using your hands. We use our hands for almost everything in our daily lives, so even if we dont play the sport, our hand they are 'trained' We dont use our feet for anything besides walking, so imagine doing all that a football player can do with his foot and how much practice you need
The amount of Ronaldinho commercials I watched was a kid probably matches the length of extended lord of the rings. Just to try to learn all the crazy skills.
There is a video somewhere of Ronaldinho playing when he was a kid, he already had all the moves. It is also somewhat missleading to call this the early Ronaldinho, he had a career in Brazil that took him to European football before this after all. Those where the early years.
Ronaldinho is magic 🪄 he played like it was a Sunday game with the boys. If Ronaldinho had discipline, he’d for sure be in the GOAT debate. God I miss watching joga bonito and him play.
I don't know if you realized that in one of this videos, with a brazilian speaker, he said: "...Ronaldinho pass to Ronaldinho..." and the Ronaldinho scored! It may sound strange, but in Brazil both were called Ronaldinhos. "Ronaldo Nazário (the phenomenon)" and "Ronaldinho Gaúcho (this one in your reaction)". Please, react to the battle skills between them. They're both fantastic!
When he won the World Cup, he still played for PSG, he was supposed to go to Manchester United after that, but he probably thought the climate and life in Barcelona would suit him better
Bro I 100% agree. Football is way harder than it looks. You notice better by watching matches at the stadium but mostly by playing, then you understand the ball does tricky trajectories depending on the spin and things like that, there's so many possibilities for creative people. Americans have tradition of American football and basketball so I think with a bigger fanbase and more tradition you're gonna produce monster goalkeepers and wingers. I've seen basketball players jump so high and have so much acceleration that they make good defenders, watch at home the kid Jeyland Mitchell vs Vini jr, the kid was basketball player not long ago and he dominanted vini
Certain countries had very strict work permit requirements for Non-EU players back in the day which prevented a lot of clubs from signing him, biggest reason he ended up in France. You would need to play a certain amount of international games to be able to acquire one, nowadays it's way easier.
We should probably direct Luke to some of the videos on the Bosman Ruling. I'd put it among one of the three major transformational events from the 90s that lead to contemporary football.
Hey Luke, watching your travel into football since a while. Im a pretty hardcore football fan, being part of the Ultras of FC Köln (Cologne/Germany) in my youth and roughly the same age as you. If you ever want to know, why we (Millenials, if you want to call the generation) think of Ronaldinho as high as we are. Watch some of the old "Joga Bonito" Advertisement clips here on youtube. You will get the full early to mid 2000 vibes there. And Ronaldinho obviously being one of the main characters there (next to Zidane, Beckham, R. Carlos and the likes...). Ronaldinho has an ability that not that many footballers have had after that golden era of superstars. He made 10 year olds start to dribble across the whole field, just because they felt the need to make a creative and beaetiful play. Despite their coaches screaming at them to stop this nonsense and play disciplined. No. Dinho made the game more beautiful. He was the reason we all believed in our dribbling skills. In trying the unexpected. In playing the game in an offensive way. In Football history the 90s were dominated by italian teams and their catennaccio (defensive style of football). Ronaldinho and the other stars of the early 2000s broke that up and finally we saw beautiful plays again. Keep up your channel!
If you wanna check yet another different but equally awesome highlights of Ronaldinho, watch his videos from when he played at Atlético-MG and won the Libertadores, near the end of his carreer.
I think one of the reason Roni goes under people’s radar is he played in France before the big TV audience took over European football A lot of the footage in France shows empty seats which doesn’t happen in the English top leagues The Prem took over world football and he went to Spain where at the time as good as Barca where they where not shown on TV around the world as it is now
The weight isn't just about stamina. You literally cannot pivot or "animate" as fast as you should be able to, due to the weight. This affects dribbling, ball control, passing and shooting. So basically everything about football. Trying to play football while overweight is a great way to lose weight, but it's also a serious struggle. As long as you don't over-eat to compensate for the calorie burn of playing football it's actually one of the best ways to lose weight as well. If you think football is too harsh on your joints to play frequently enough to use as a weight-loss exercise then I recommend getting an elliptical trainer machine and just watch a tv show or w/e for 40mins while you exercise on the elliptical every day. Just make sure you remain in a calorie deficit (introduced by the daily exercise) to actually lose the weight, don't just start eating more, because you "now exercise and can afford to eat a little more food". Last things to mention - don't bother running in a park or on a treadmill, an elliptical trainer is considerably better. Lifting weights is also extremely beneficial, although it doesn't directly help with weight loss, it's always recommended for almost anyone. But it basically doubles the commitment you have to put into exercising, so it's more of an optional suggestion, despite of how incredibly beneficial it is.
and the guy didn't even train as hard as most players, so much so that they had to put things in his contract to restrict him from night life, which didn't work XD but the best Dino video is Ronaldinho the footballs greatest entertainment, no joke you will S your pants when you see it
All he's plays are highlights, actually. Please see his first goal, actually he's first TOCUH in the ball for the Brazilian National Team, he is a highlight man
If you’re giving the ball away while being pressured, that sounds like you could do with work on shielding the ball, and your awareness. Shielding the ball can allow a lot of time if you can do it well. And if you scan the pitch as and when you’re receiving the ball you can gauge the time you have on the ball, then if you need to make a safe pass you can. Good luck
The thing is Ronaldinho had way more potential , he trained hard but mid career he started go through drugs, parties, and more stuff that made teams don't want to hire him and he starting lowering his level.
whats up luke, i am the one who recommend that ronaldinho video, the best highlights are aerial view and little cut, or edits. the more simple the video is better, you appreciate more the skills of the player. I recommend that video because at that time you havent react to a good video of ronaldinho, almost in youtube nobody has. react to how defenders talk about messi, or players that have play or train with him,its interesting to see their perspective . this is a good video, Legends Talk About Lionel Messi!, in other video.short obi mikel talk about messi, how the team prepare to face messi.
He was the best in the world... had a long career and had terrible off field antics. the last true badboy of football. from paris to bacelona to milan to sao paulo... oh the no look passes were always a part of his game..
Ronaldinho played for PSG before joining Barca and became a legend, opposite to what Naymar did. Neymar left as he didn't wanna be in Messi's shadow so the shadow followed him back to PSG in 2021.
The Mahomes comparison is almost perfect. The difference is: Ronaldinho played like the best player EVER, but only for ~5 years. Mahomes will probably have Messi-like high level consistency in his carrer.
Barcelona is so special because the best players in the world played....the players prefer Barcelona because it has aura...the team with the most Ballon d'Ors
stamina is important of course but you have to mange your effort. In football you can’t be 100% all of the time. You will be burned in 20min. Manage your stamina. Know when to press, when to walk. It will comes with experiences .. also do a lot of 1 vs 1. Just 2 people trying to pass the other one and taking the ball. It will improves your dribble ability and you will be a lil more press resistant
Great analysis from an American perspective lol no offence but loads of people that I see reacting to football just don't understand. Like you said the thing with giving up the ball quickly coz of pressure, now think you play with amateurs so the speed of the pressure coming on to you is 10x times slower than pro games, plus the physicality of it and having that xtra pressure of a 50.000 stadium plus TV all around the world, its insainly difficult, to be a player like Ronaldinho or Messi you need to be special❤
I think what Ronaldinho has that messi never had was real pace. Messi can accelerate and turn really quickly, but in a sprint hes not fast. Ronaldinho was fast when he needed to be
This was cool but like you said it was some random B-roll footage of his younger years, you should really do the classic Ronaldinho Greatest Entertainer video, that one I believe showcases his best and would just be good for your algorithm cause its the one that went viral and everyone reacted, it will bring you a lot of views. Cheers!
Overall I'd say Neymar is better than Ronaldinho. Both have amazing skill, as far as talent goes maybe Ronaldinho is better but Neymar is way more consistent. Both have great passing and vision for passing, but Neymar's is better. Comparing Neymar to CR7 or Messi, I'd say he has the same amount of talent and natural skill, the difference is that he made some wrong decisions, luck wasn't on his side, maybe his commitment to being the best wasn't on the same level as the other two who gave it their all, all of the time. But when comes to natural talent, Neymar is easily one of the best players who've ever played this game.
Pelé diserve a reaction check the documentery and highlights from him imagine his skill on the worse pitch you have seen and he got 3 World cups wins and played 4 world cup ! You miss a true legend if you don't research on him !
For me, the beauty of football video is terrible video to introduce someone into the sport. You need to know the context in a lot of those clips to fully appreciate it. And for some reason it’s always one of the first football videos people are told to react to.

Ronaldinho is probably the third after Maradona and Messi when it comes to dribbling. An absolutely brilliant player. It was almost impossible to take the ball from him without committing a foul.
His not at the same level as a great players ? 😂😂😂 you do have a long way to learn abou Football . Ronaldinho is far better than Messi and CR7 specially CR7 . Ronaldinho was natural and play for fun . Did not take it serious it was just fun .
I apologize for the poor audio quality at parts of the video. This is the unfortunate nature of reacting on a livestream.
Haven't you seen the video where Ronaldinho is playing voleyball with his feet? That video is mindblowing, show the Ronaldinho's magical talent 🤯🤯🤯👏👏👏👏

Messi made Barca look good.
Ronaldo makes Ronaldo look good.
Ronaldinho made football look good.

Agree. Let us not forget though, Ronaldinho's mentor. The Obi Wan Kenobi to Luke Skywalker...

and the guy didn't even train as hard as most players, so much so that they had to put things in his contract to restrict him from night life, which didn't work XD but the best Dino video is Ronaldinho the footballs greatest entertainment, no joke you will S your pants when you see it
All he's plays are highlights, actually. Please see his first goal, actually he's first TOCUH in the ball for the Brazilian National Team, he is a highlight man
Most skillfull and best dibbler of all time IMO. He's too unpredictable. Nightmare to defenders.
I agree Ronaldinho has the same audacity that Patrick Mahomes to make beautiful plays and humble their opponents!
Good luck
jj okocha next
Forget GOATS, Just for Love of The Game.
Lok out fot Falcão( the hawk).
You won't regret!
The thing is Ronaldinho had way more potential , he trained hard but mid career he started go through drugs, parties, and more stuff that made teams don't want to hire him and he starting lowering his level.
You more you play with a ball you more you improve no matter you have a bad day or not, keep it in mind !
one of the best
whats up luke, i am the one who recommend that ronaldinho video, the best highlights are aerial view and little cut, or edits. the more simple the video is better, you appreciate more the skills of the player.

I see Ronaldinho doing Messi dribbles . I never see Messi doing Ronaldinho dribbles
He was Messi’s mentor
Well, if that is what you think of Neymar, you're just wrong. Just look at his stats. Consistently averaging well above 1 goal participation per game
stamina is important of course but you have to mange your effort.
Please react to Ronaldinho - the greatest entertainer. It's a great compilation.
Watch Neymar at Santos
M A G I C
Did u watch the spurs game 🫣
@@ajk2006 😑
Great analysis from an American perspective lol no offence but loads of people that I see reacting to football just don't understand. Like you said the thing with giving up the ball quickly coz of pressure, now think you play with amateurs so the speed of the pressure coming on to you is 10x times slower than pro games, plus the physicality of it and having that xtra pressure of a 50.000 stadium plus TV all around the world, its insainly difficult, to be a player like Ronaldinho or Messi you need to be special❤
As kids we was excited to watch him
he was an entertainer
his career didn't last long as it should've cause he party too much
The sound from the clips are Abit loud, your reactions drowns in the mix. Otherwise great vid! 🤝
I think what Ronaldinho has that messi never had was real pace. Messi can accelerate and turn really quickly, but in a sprint hes not fast. Ronaldinho was fast when he needed to be
He played for psg before it wa$ cool
Take my like, and....Search "Messi is a Dog".... Ronalidinho is a Messi's Sensei....
Ronaldinho at PSG 🔥
Ronaldinho at Grêmio 🔥
react to ROMARIO CLINICAL STRIKER
This was cool but like you said it was some random B-roll footage of his younger years, you should really do the classic Ronaldinho Greatest Entertainer video, that one I believe showcases his best and would just be good for your algorithm cause its the one that went viral and everyone reacted, it will bring you a lot of views. Cheers!
Before Messi the goucho was the best period
The best is R9
2nd best is R10
Then the rest of them..
Pelé diserve a reaction check the documentery and highlights from him imagine his skill on the worse pitch you have seen and he got 3 World cups wins and played 4 world cup ! You miss a true legend if you don't research on him !
Ronaldinho won World Cup and Ballon d'Or. Neymar none of them
For me, the beauty of football video is terrible video to introduce someone into the sport. You need to know the context in a lot of those clips to fully appreciate it. And for some reason it’s always one of the first football videos people are told to react to.
mein ersteindruck fussball war tony schuhmacher - sorry: my first impression of soccer was tony schuhmacher (gk plays with broken fingers -40years ago - wtf)

Ronaldinho is probably the third after Maradona and Messi when it comes to dribbling. An absolutely brilliant player. It was almost impossible to take the ball from him without committing a foul.
I would put him 2nd possibly 1st.
His not at the same level as a great players ? 😂😂😂 you do have a long way to learn abou Football . Ronaldinho is far better than Messi and CR7 specially CR7 . Ronaldinho was natural and play for fun . Did not take it serious it was just fun .
To think that at a certain point PSG had both Ronaldinho and Okocha playing at the same time.
look at neymar's numbers 🤔🤌
