Kraton 6s 18t pinion gear upgrade

Hello everyone last video I heard some winding sounds high RPM then noticed my pinion gear was lose and ate through the motor mount and ate up the center diff cup oh well hahaha I had a blast running it but didnt like the cogging I was getting so geared back down to 15t pinion and put the punch level.to 6 and almost did a standing back flip lol more my style and hopefully it will keep.the temps down

Yes Carboot oFFice, diggin that💯, so if u still have the 18t in him, try and set ur throttle trim up some and c if that takes away the coggin🤔, But remember to let your Trigger finger know what time it is b4 u use him things are happening real quick😎

Thanks for the info brother I run the 15t gear now punch level 7 and throttle trim all the way upp she running strong now!

my pinion came loose 10 mins after purchasing, switched to the 15t pinion and have ran that since. motor mount is torn up the same way since the set screw got lodged in there

the 18 tooth 🦷 pinion gear ⚙️ really brings it to life don’t it .? Keep up the great job shaking your Kraton down. When you are done the rewards will be plentiful 🏁. When you start sending it with the 18 tooth you will notice a huge difference in air control too. When you change you outdrive cup on the center diff you should probably put thicker fluid in it to send more power both ways

18t is a beast for sure runs to hot for my bashing style so I geared her back down to 15 and alot better and I like the throttle response alot more on the lower pinion gear for me

I think I’m gonna put the 18 tooth on there and see if I can beat my record jump at least a couple runs before it overheats LOL

That's if your front end doesn't lift off to space 1st haha it's really touchy and hard to keep the nose down but it was a good learning experience for me haha but I'm running the 15t gear didn't bash to hard but I was able to get better low end throttle response

Yes you can just keep an eye on the motor temps the bigger the pinion gear ⚙ the hotter it runs
