wd 40 is a good cleaner, but chemically it dries rubber/plastic out - spray it on the rag or id say just keep it away from the tires altogether. If your wheel is oily and dirty enough to warrant using wd40 on it, there is almost certainly a separate issue causing that. Either that or you do a ton of burnouts
Thanks for the info! I was a kid back then and had no clue what I was talking about. Now I wouldn’t put wd40 anywhere near anything that has to do with the tires, or brakes lol
