EVIL SIMS COMPARED! Sims 1 vs. Sims 2 vs. Sims 3 vs. Sims 4

- In this video, I'm comparing EVIL SIMS in The Sims vs. The Sims 2 vs. The Sims 3 vs. The Sims 4. While we didn't have a real "evil" trait until Sims 3, it was still possible to make mean/grouchy Sims in the first two games. But once The Sims started using personality traits instead of points, Evil Sims became much more fun to play!
Which one is your favorite? Mine has to be Sims 3. Evil Sims in the third game just feel so...evil. They're so much fun to play and have a lot of autonomous and unique evil behaviors. Sims 4 has a few fun things too, but in my opinion the Evil Sims in TS4 just can't live up to The Sims 3 version.

Had triplets in the sims 3 once, one was evil and the sound of his siblings crying filled him with so much joy

Something I liked about the traits in TS3 that doesn't seem to get talked about a lot (at least not that I've seen anyway) is how even though Good and Evil conflict with each other, and Mean-Spirited and Friendly conflict with each other, Good doesn't conflict with Mean-Spirited and Evil doesn't conflict with Friendly. You could make someone who has a good heart and will try to always do the right thing but whose social skills leave a _lot_ to be desired so they end up being an abrasive jerk most of the time, and you could also make someone who's genuinely polite and outgoing but still absolutely malicious and genuinely delights in others' misfortune. Idk I thought that was a pretty neat detail at least
IKR? I loved that you could make an utter psychopath who appears friendly and totally approachable to the outside because he perfected feigning agreeable behavior.
Yess I love that too! Fairly new to sims 3 but noticing that made my gameplay very rich and layered
I truly miss all the traits we could give our sims in sims 3 that added so much character unlike the sims 4 :(
Mix that with the “unstable” trait and you’re in for a wild ride
This is what I've done in my game -- I had twins and made one evil but also friendly, and I thought to myself, this is one hell of a power combo.

Yes and the other day my mean sim argued with the mascot at university and then wanted to "drink Houston (the mascot's name)" after he made the sprinklers go off lol

I have an evil sim and she had a daughter.. just ONCE her daughter being mean to her.. that wishes happen.. EVEN to her own daughter xDDD freaking insane.. I just right click everytime that happen
I remember I wanted to make the most down bad evil sim: I gave him the mean trait, inappropriate, flirty, evil, and hot headed.
He couldn’t get along with ANYONE. He was so toxic, he couldn’t even get along with people with similar traits as him. It got so bad that he had over twenty enemies. Absolutely the most toxic sim I ever made lol he was always fighting people and I made him work out at the gym so he’d stop getting beat up all the time

fun fact about evil sims in the sims 2: watch how they interact in the playful options when throwing a ball or punching they tend to throw it harshly at the other sim unironically. Im surprised cindy didn't mention this one! I always see it often with my own sims
A game of catch at the Beaker house is so weird to watch. No one ever catches the ball. Are they just trying to see who bruises worse? That's dedication to science!

One of my favourite “evil” wants in TS2 was when Sims would want to drink another Sim! I’d say desiring to kill your enemy and then drink their life essence is pretty evil!

Sims 3 team really just went "what mundane tasks can we make unnecessarily evil? ah yes, washing your hands"
I feel like sims 3 does evil sims best. I also think sims 3 does all other types of sims better. It also incorporates new and unique interactions with each expansion pack for different personalities.
No memories = amnesiac sims.
i love that in sims 3 that evil conflicts with good, but NOT friendly. you can make a sim who seems nice, but secretly enjoys the misery of others.
The sims 3 definitely wins at evil sims, but when it comes to being jerks, the sims 2 does it like there’s no tomorrow.
I’m playing my third generation in Pleasantview and I have so many grouchy sims that every single birthday ends up with several fights throughout.
I’ve had 2 sims just come and attack complete strangers - the have a memory of a fight before they have a memory of meeting the person they fought with.
Once I even had 2 sims fighting between 2 teenagers who were kissing for the first time (to make things better, this was on a toddler’s birthday party).
I had a cutscene from that and it was just comedy gold
There is the mean spirited trait in sims 3 That makes the sims go around the twon insulting and fighting sims just for fun. Its so funny to see it

I love Strangetown because it’s full of grouchy people, they’re so mean for no reason
I think we can all agree that living in Strangetown is doping to your canis canem edit instincts. The true rattlesnakes are the scientists we met along the way.
Maybe they’re angry about everyone getting abducted by aliens all the time
While I really love how ‘not nice’ sims behave in sims 2 (evil snowmen, chess cheating and catching balls to the face are my favs), sims 3 has me at “evil mermaids can summon sharks” 😳 that’s a mic drop of evil 😂😂😂
They also punch a little too hard when they play "Punch you-punch me" game, causing the other Sims to be in pain and not liking the mean sim.
Also teens giving other teens and kids a noogie. Classic bully behavior..

The Evil trait in Sims 3 is my favorite of all the series lol. Love the random beat downs, cackling during thunderstorms, and stealing that delicious candy from babies 😈

I'm not too familiar with TS4 but I love the way that the evil trait combines with other traits in The Sims 3. You could easily make an evil Sim that was also "charismatic" and "friendly" and have a cult leader or charming Republican on your hands, or an evil Sim with "computer whiz" and "hates the outdoors" that becomes a notorious hacker. This made me want to play Sims 3

I had a politician sim that was evil and had the schmoozer trait. She’s through parties where her neighbors donated money to her campaign. She was really good at her job, but was a terrible mother and was cheating on her husband with a co-worker📷✨
I loved making evil politicians and such. Or rather, just politicians.
I think its interesting how just like you can be evil and friendly, you can be mean spirited and good

14:08 Fun fact: the lights in the salon don't actually work. For some reason, any building that came with Ambitions that is in any world besides Twinbrook has the issue where none of the lights work. This goes for the fire station, laundromats, already mentioned salon, etc., and any premade house in edit town mode that was added with ambitions as well. You have to go through and change all the lights in any of those buildings if you want to play with them outside of Twinbrook.
or just reset the colour, the lights always works after that

Itd be cool if they had both the sims 1-2 and 3-4 personality systems. Like you could assign them a general personality and traits would give them unique characteristics

I always find it hilarious when the Sim goes to a corner to cry when that Sim was the one who started insulting/shoves/pokes others.
Moral of the story: If you can't handle the heat....
Sims 4 Evil/Mean trait is broken. I made an evil Sim and a mean Sim who were married. He was to be the Emperor of Evil and she was to be the Cat-Woman of the Sims world (a power couple I loved to do in Sims 3). However, they never got along and would do nothing but fight. Even evil Sims still have "friends" and find "love". It was to be a Bonny and Clyde kind of relationship.

Typical, the sims 4 not delivering on gameplay and personality lol. Gotta love how deep the sims 2/3 got with personality and depth. However, recently one of my sims in sims 4 befriended someone evil, and when they went to lunch that jerk tried to seal my money and they instantly because enemies. Could’ve been a mod though? 👀 lol

One of my Sims in TS2 has 3 nice points and lived in an apartment - when I was playing a neighbour he came into her apartment and stole a gnome she had! He also has a terrible relationship with the landlord, and as soon as that happened the landlord also walked into her apartment, and attacked him, presumably for stealing the gnome. 😂 It was hilarious!
Did the landlord jack up your Sims rent? I heard if you had a terrible relationship with the landlord the landlord will increase the rent.
I loved the difference between evil and mean in Sims 3. Mean is an even more complete trait than evil. I feel Sims in Sims 2 more mean than evil according to the description of both traits in Sims 3.

I'm usually a daily washer, but I'm trying to go to every other day because I feel like it's getting too dry!
@@PleasantSims yes definitely washing your hair less helps to keep your natural oils and strengthens your hair! I’m down to only once a week washes (with shampoo) and sometimes I’ll just rinse my hair and do conditioner :)
Same I rarely wash my hair I have gone 2 weeks without washing it and it was so healthy honestly I asked my boyfriend “how long ago would you say I look like I washed my hair last” and he guessed 4 days cause he knows I go a while without washing it and I was like nope 2 weeks 😂😂😂 he was shocked
@@belladramatic961 I do once a week because I can’t standing the long process of washing, untangling an drying all this hair. It’s such a hassle and I never look forward to that process. Plus styling my hair isn’t easy when it’s washed so often.
Wanna add to conversation lol. I started with washing my hair once a week, at some point i became lazy and it turned into once in 2 weeks, and with time i could really see the difference, my hair starting to stay clean for a lot longer! Now i wash them about once a month with only one good dry shampoo session somewhere in the middle and nobody can ever guess when i washed my hair last time cause it looks good anyway 😃
Love the video, something else I noticed in the sims 2 (I don’t really know if it involves grouchy or nice personality points) however one time I played the game from scratch and made the pleasant house catch on fire, while Lilith was on fire Angela would go up to Lilith and when I looked in her queue it said “laugh at” which even shocked me. 😂

I had a evil daughter in sims 3 and when she was a teen she was grounded for staying out past curfew and then got the wish to kill her dad (the one where she wanted to see the ghost of her dad) right after...I love the sims 3

I had a sim in Sims 2 who would constantly argue with everyone. Not a great thing when he needed one more friend for a promotion.
I also think that in ts3 if a sim is good they get an upset moodlet from being close with someone who is evil and vice versa

Sims 3 has the best trait system hands down. You can have more of them, they have a direct impact on lifetime wants, and there are trait specific interactions that are hard if not impossible for sims to do without possessing specific traits

You should try playing with an evil spellcaster in TS4! Though I don't think they have any special interactions they do laugh maniacally whenever they use untamed magic, which is quite fun to watch them do.
evil sims are soooo fun to play i was so mad when in ts4 they werent any different BUT i loved the emotion it gave. im early so i cant wait to see how the vid goes with 1 and 2 :] (im a longtime ts3 player)
Regarding evil sims in The Sims 2, you forgot that sims with 1 or 0 nice points can crank call other sims using the phone.

I grew up playing sims 3, and always loved having an evil twin&good twin story. But I haven’t done it in the sims 4. I find it doesn’t make a difference so why bother. They just act the same 🧍🏼♀️
My favorite game Mass Effect just got released again as a "Legendary Edition" with polished graphics and such, got me to thinking, but I don't follow the Sims community at all - do you know if the head honchos that make Sims ever mentioned if they would consider remastering and releasing the old Sims games? I mean, they'd make a fortune. I think everyone would buy a copy!!!

I know it is absolutely not the same- women have it way harder when it comes to hair loss. Society associates hair with femininity so much and expects women to perform and have amazing heads of hair... But I am a guy who has problems with hormones so I bald like crazy- I relate to your struggle and been cheering on you ever since you opened up about it. For me evil sims usually point and laugh, not just laugh, when they witness an enemy die or when laughing at graves.

I think sims 3 won this one, although sims 2 wins when it comes to comedic effect 😂
It's surprising how important details are. Sims 4 feels so shallow because it talks much, but barely ever does something that surprises you, or gives you a reason to keep on trying to see what happens. Like how in different parts of the sims animations for certain action performed by sims with different traits differ from the normal ones, or how certain actions like sleeping in a bed with a partner in sims 2 will trigger a special action and the sims will cuddle in bed. These things were almost completely removed from the sims 4, in hopes it will lower the cost and time of production and no one will even care perhaps?
Representation is everything...so I was so fiendishly delighted to be represented in the Sims 3 lol

I usually don't prefer evil sims because i'm a lovey-dovey (? player who enjoys easy interactions between sims, but i admit their personalities gives any gameplay a lot to tell! it's awesome! As much as i love TS2, TS3 wins with this trait. Thanks for the video Cindy! You look beautiful!
Sims 3 did an amazing job with the traits :) I wish Sims 4 did that but hopefully it gets better as they add things to it.
The Sims 3 Evil is the main antagonist. The Sims 4 Evil is the villain's minion.

I just wanna take a minute and appreciate evilness in Sims Medieval. as a sort of a big addon to Sims 3 it expands evil mechanics mainly via introducing fatal flaws and being not just evil (which is a good trait btw) but also bloodthirsty or cruel 😈

I noticed that in the Sims 2 , if an evil sim gets caught spying on Mortimer then they don.t cry after Mortimer yells at them, whereas a nicer sim will run and cry.

I do enjoy the trait system in TS3 the best! its just so much more detailed I feel like there are so many different types of personality dynamics you can make. I do really love how the sims in TS2 act towards one another tho, if that game had traits too it would be the best! i truly do want a hybrid of all the games lol

The premade ambition lots have a problem with light so those always look dark, even when the lights are on. You can fix it by changing the lots light color to white
