What is the story here? As best as I can recall the Fillmore became a (God help me) a Howard Johnsons, 50 years ago. Who are these people? They are great.
Fillmore San Francisco.....Vocals - Jimmy Hall; Guitars - Sierra Green, Devon Allman, Anders Osborne, Duane Betts, Luther Dickinson; Drums/Percussion - Alex Orbison/ Cody Dickinson
Thanks for the update. When, I left SF in about 1969, there was a huge sign with Bill Graham, middle finger upraised, and the caption eat at Howard Johnsons. Evidently, they had signed a lease. I never learned that Graham had gotten it back (evidently) and that it had continued as a historic music venue. I Googled it and the history was fascinating. No mention of the HJ episode.
