I love Hue, Lau Hai San, and Banh Xeo Ngon!!! I agree with all of the foods you mentioned here. However you should do a review on Banh Canh 3 Mien in SJ!!! Ever since my viet friend told me about it I couldn’t believe how freaking delicious it was. This should belong on the list too lol.
The first dish looked like I’d be full for days! The salt pepper squid looked amazing as well as the fried pancake. You just introduced me to some delicious new dishes ✨💜✨

Thanks so much for watching! I went to UCD for undergrad and spent ample time in Sac. I used to go to Quan Nem Ninh Hoa on Stockton Ave for their delicious nem nuong. SJ def is where it's at for authentic Viet food! I am coming out with more Viet food videos soon. 🙏

Was it your first time trying Viet coffee? Real Viet coffee will have you wired very quickly! Apparently in Vietnam, people will have 3 coffees a day because they keep sweating from the heat. I don't recommend having that much in 1 day here!
@@StephEatsnTravels I typically have a couple cups around 5am, then grab a grande from Starbucks everyday. We tried Vietnamese coffee near Tully rd, but they didn't make it through the pandemic. I'm literally not young enough for Vietnamese coffee..wow what a punch. Vietnamese food is delicious, almost like eating candy for dinner.
@@StephEatsnTravels Starbucks is more manageable for me being that I'm fat, dumb and happy. My younger foreman Morgan, he drinks expresso quadruple. An expresso is probably an instant ambulance ride for me.

Westminster has the highest % of Viet population in the US. 😁 I think Viet food is better in OC!
San Jose =1 City only, thus < Orange County (Westminster, Garden Grove, Santa Ana, Fountain Valley, Mid City = 5 smaller Cities concentration)

Most, if not all, Vietnamese restaurants sell Viet coffee. :) they definitely pack a whollap. So a Starbucks everyday is more manageable? 😂
