@@StephEatsnTravels I really enjoyed Lẩu Hải Sản. I tried the salt pepper squid and the number 1 appetizer (sorry I don't remember the name its the fried balls with shrimp inside). I loved them both. I'm pretty sure they fry them in lard to make them extra tasty. I also loved the hotpot. Maybe you can review MuMu hotpot, one of my favorite Chinese places! Love your videos, good job and keep them comming.

I love Hue, Lau Hai San, and Banh Xeo Ngon!!! I agree with all of the foods you mentioned here. However you should do a review on Banh Canh 3 Mien in SJ!!! Ever since my viet friend told me about it I couldn’t believe how freaking delicious it was. This should belong on the list too lol.

Thanks so much for watching! I went to UCD for undergrad and spent ample time in Sac. I used to go to Quan Nem Ninh Hoa on Stockton Ave for their delicious nem nuong. SJ def is where it's at for authentic Viet food! I am coming out with more Viet food videos soon. 🙏
Hey Stephanie. Great job with the content. Soooo, I've been living in the Bay Area (San Mateo) all my life. My partner and I just discovered Vietnam Town. It's amazing though so many restaurants to choose. Your video has given me some guidance to target some of them. I'm a big fan of Viet cuisine just not the meat because I'm pescatarian. I visited Hanoi but my favorite Viet cuisine is more of the central and southern region. Keep truckin'

There are SO many new restaurants in Vietnam Town (some not even Viet restaurants)! What's great about Vietnamese cuisine is it can be tailored for vegans, vegetarians, and pescatarians. I'm currently editing another pho video as we speak, and filmed another cheap eats video where I feature a vegetarian dish. I have a lot of commenters tell me they are vegetarian or vegan, so I will try to incorporate more of that on my channel. Stay tuned!

Oakland definitely has a restaurant scene that is as diverse as it is deep. I do have to admit, I haven't gotten Chinese food from there in a long time. I think Milpitas and even Fremont have Chinese restaurants that are legitimately good but it's been almost a year since I've visited them that I'm starting to forget how the food tasted 😭 As for Vietnamese cuisine, I'll take your word for how good it is in SJ 😁
Definitely Milpitas and Fremont are pretty good spots for Chinese food and more. But my perception is Oakland might be better. I'll have to head up to Oakland more often! Btw, my next video will be about Viet food too~

Oakland definitely has a restaurant scene that is as diverse as it is deep. I do have to admit, I haven't gotten Chinese food from there in a long time. I think Milpitas and even Fremont have Chinese restaurants that are legitimately good but it's been almost a year since I've visited them that I'm starting to forget how the food tasted 😭 As for Vietnamese cuisine, I'll take your word for how good it is in SJ 😁
Definitely Milpitas and Fremont are pretty good spots for Chinese food and more. But my perception is Oakland might be better. I'll have to head up to Oakland more often! Btw, my next video will be about Viet food too~
