Great video Steve! I’m definitely trying all these places next time I’m in the OC. One of my favorite places I always try to make it to is Bahn Khot Vung Tau. Their bahn khot, pretty much like mini banh xeo but I believe this place doesn’t use tumeric because it’s not as yellow in color, is the best so crispy!

So happy that you got to try bun rieu oc; it's my favorite soup of the noodle soups. Isn't it amazing how you can make a wrap out of ingredients the same way you make a Korean saam? I love the similarities between our cuisines and the freshness of them both. I'm so glad you enjoyed your time in Westminster.
Korea is also the only northern country with chili as their main cuisine. Love their food, too.

They should have taken you to Oc & Lau one of the best popular Vietnamese seafood 🦞 restaurants in Garden Grove and Westminster too. You will love it. Highly recommended. One of mine favorite 🤩. Vietnamese Cusine has many dishes, northern, central and southern dishes. They are all different. Vietnamese seafood udon is very good too if you know the right place. Each restaurant has their own specialty, so ask them when you walk in.

I felt like the women in this video didn't really add to the quality of the content this week, I was hoping they would be experts in Vietnamese cuisine and go more in depth about the traditional flavors and cooking methods of the food but instead we got 2 awkward women that aren't used to being on camera and would just repeat what ever you say "delicious, so soft, so fresh" or just go "mhmmm". Besides that, definitely added these places to my OC food list!
Edit : I watched it to the end and they were much better towards the 2nd half of the video. Perhaps it might have been adjusting to talking to a camera during the first restaurant visit.

The dark thing in the bun bo hue at Vy Da restaurant was not tofu. It was pork blood.

The rule to win this fear is keep routin slowly walking when you across of streams of motobike! bykers knows how to avoide you themself in chaos-order! remmember do not runs and stop suddently , accident immidiatly ! spring roll is anything you wrap in rice paper. just like a taco is anything you put in a tortilla. the herbs are what make it special.

@@halu9997 Los Angeles is when the first generation Vietnamese landed in the 70s. Orange is where the fusion Viet food is. I went to high school in Alhambra. The guy sat behind me was a Vietnamese. Now I would only go to a Vietnamese restaurant if at least half the Asian customers speak Vietnamese.

I live in San francisco all my life. there are no hot spot to get great Niet food, we get only pho and banh mi and sproing rolls. How sad
