I feel like I should point this out now that the game is 4 years old. RadicalFishGames has moved on from CrossCode and is working on a new project. So unless something really bad is found connected to Vendor glitch, I think it's safe to say the game will always have this glitch.
Just restarted this game today after 4 years. This is by far one of the most well explained tutoriels for a glitch i have ever seen. You really did a great job and i want to thank you that.
Awesome, nice find man. I actually found a way to grind XP pretty fast in late game in the hedgehog area by making my HP negative, so I can suicide into the river in one jump and then kill 30 hedgehogs in the area and repeat. Really handy for super fast XP gain(Relatively speaking when even quests are only giving 15 exp for completion)
Would you ever consider doing a tutorial for things like landmark storing and all the save file shenanigans required to do any%? I've only recently begun taking interest in the speed running scene of this game, and it is very hard to follow what all is happening and what inputs are being done to accomplish what with many of the any% tricks.
@@Xdragon95 that would be amazingly helpful. i really appreciate these sorts of videos because it helps to make it feel not so next to impossible to get into speed running
This works with any Credit vendor (normal shops). It does not work with trade vendors, a menu glitch can happen but only results in a softlock and crash whenever something is done with it.

This is how Speedrunners dupe souls in Dark Souls 1 too. The game has the same issue that you can do 2 menu actions simultaniously.

Sure! I still plan on remaking my sppedguide as well cause it's super outdated. Not sure when I'll get to it though

The place shown in this video is only really accessible later in normal playthroughs. The location is called Rhombus Square.
