Exactly it can honestly hurt a lot I got told that I don’t deserve to be in the changing rooms in gyms and people always assume that I cheat and then they just call me a freak. When I came out to one of my friends the only thing they said was “you hav a crush on me?” And then never really talked to me. When I was at school, before my friend came out as ftm trans, we were really close and people would make fun of us thinking that we were lesbians.
I tried to deny my feelings for girls for a long time - obviously that didn't work. My boyfriend's mum literally told me to pick a side and that I was being greedy.
