***** Aberdeen had a bunch of wild characters years ago and they bred. So maybe those tattoos are highly valued there. I can't imagine being in prison and having those tats respected.

i drove from san francisco to new york city while in college and regret not taking hwy 1.. drove south through center of Calif instead..grrrrrr.. but now enjoy riding with you and seeing what i missed trough your eyes.. great armchair travelling.. and saves me doing it myself.. truck on

I traveled a little ways on highway one many years ago. It's one of my fondest memories of that trip. (or any trip for that matter) Enjoy it to the max, love the chair and thermos, makes me want to return someday. As I'm sure you're aware, it takes all kinds of people to make the world go around, please be aware that you happen to be one that offers joy to those of us who can't partake ourselves. Great video, I've driven on Highway 1, and this brings back some great memories. Good comment about hoping someone doesn't park behind you and lock in into that spot, it was pretty obvious you couldn't go forward. I used to drive a delivery truck, we put out orange traffic cones at each stop just to be sure someone didn't box in the truck and make us unable to leave on time for our next delivery. Just a thought....
