+medranofamilytx Yes the elephant seals are at their beach this time of year. The cows are probably beginning to calve right about now, at Christmas time.
+Maura McDermott Hearst Castle is very nice this time of year. If you take an evening tour, there are docents in period clothing giving tours and whole Castle is decorated for the season in period correct decor of the '20s and '30s.

Hey, I have a VHS tape of myself in a Shakespearean play, a free outdoors entertainment in a villa type courtyard, for tourists. The one and only time I had the guts to act. It was so much fun. Another blast from the past, for me. My mother's cousin lived in Carmel By the Sea. She borrowed me to babysit her children for a week, when I was only in the fifth grade. I looked very young, because of genetics & being short, so it seemed odd to be the caretaker of my little cousins, all day. She worked as a waitress at The Whaler restaurant. Apparently, my mother had no idea I was being put to work. This was a very, very long time ago. The town looks so posh these days; picture perfect postcard tableaus. Not what it was like, back when I visited there. TYFS, my favorite video you've done.
