Revival - Bad MMLP2 - Overall not very good but had a few good songs Kamikaze - Great Recovery - Great Relapse - Great Encore - Good/Very Good MTBMB - Mostly very good Gotta laugh at these teenage - early 30 year old so-called Eminem "Fans" who say... "Everything after his 3rd major label album has sucked." "I am/was a huge Eminem fan but basically every album he's ever made sucks"... "He hasn't been able to maintain popularity because he sucks and never reinvented himself"...(even tho EVERY single album he's made is completely different than his previous albums. And he continues to break sales records and is always top of the charts when he releases a new album.) "He lost his beef with MGK. Killshot didn't live up to the hype"... (Yup, thanks for exposing yourself for what you are)
Just because someone doesn't worship every single album Eminem has ever released doesn't make them any less of a fan. Music is subjective, and this guy is entitled to his own opinions on Em's music. Dismissing others' views with condescension doesn't make you more knowledgeable; it just makes you look insecure. Eminem's music is pretty diverse, so why wouldn't it be natural for fans to have different favorites all across the board? Some might prefer his older work, while others appreciate his newer albums. And let's be real, popularity and sales don't automatically equate to quality. All that says is that the majority of people either like or dislike a certain album or record. That doesn't mean that someone's individual taste is invalid.
Leave it to Eminem’s fanbase to get angry at someone’s opinion of him. Lmao. Eminem dished out alot of negativity in his career, but cries when it happens to him.
I hope you will genuinely give this new album a couple listens without this negative expectation. Try and have an open mind going in listening to the concept, the beats, the flows, cadences, delivery, etc. He feels really great about this album that's why he was doing all this promoting. Regardless if you don't like it, Millions of fans worldwide are going to Love it, oh, and my prediction by the way, is this album will be diamond certified in the near future 💯✌️🇹🇹
When you made the point that people liked Kamikaze because it felt like a breath of fresh air compared to Revival and you said it was due to a bias that arose due to Revival being bad, I think this sort of bias can and has gone both ways. On one hand you get people who think the next project is good just because it feels like a breath of fresh air compared to the last project(even if it’s not that good), but on the other side of things you get people who pre judge the album just because of how bad the last one before even giving it a chance (which is sort of what your doing here)
MMLP2 wasn't relying on nostalgia, it's quite the opposite. In terms of sound, it's waaaaaaaaaay different than his MMLP style and he proved that even with experimental beats and flows, he could still be a f-cking monster. MMLP2 is my favorite Eminem album.
Hes just speaking facts nothing touches his first 3 albums, He is using the same formula of without me and doing it 20 years later. An artist should never go back to there old music.
He is corny 🗑️. The amount of hive mind sheep in the comments not being able to handle that some people don’t enjoy Eminem, is pathetic. The general dumbing down of society is becoming more prevalent everyday.
As a huge Eminem fan I appreciate your take on the subject. I personally have faith that this next album will be good, but will admit I am worried because old slim was just something else and Em while still amazing in every aspect, is just not the same. Not in a bad way but he is different. Thank you for sharing your opinion! The internet is not known for not thinking before they speak so sorry for the backlash
Respectfully you gave almost no reasons for why the album won't be good for a video titled "why Eminem's comeback is gonna suck" and the reasons you gave were very weak in my opinion. you are allowed to not enjoy his last three album's (that is your opinion so i don't have a problem with it) but don't you think judging his new album based on a song that came out 5 years ago is unfair?(Specially when his only song out in this album is pretty decent) And of course his new album is gonna go for the old slim shady nostalgia, its supposed to be his last album and its literally called the death of slim shady, don't you think it would be weird if the album was his last album as his slim shady persona and it was nothing like his rest?
I honestly didn’t like Houdini. It felt like Eminem was trying to call out problems in modern society like how he used to, but ended up not really talking about real problems. He even made a somewhat transphobic comment that had people celebrating that Eminem “couldn’t be cancelled” and that he was “dissing gen z”. I know Eminem probably isn’t transphobic, but plenty of the fans that enjoy lyrics like those are. On a lyrical level, I would’ve liked Houdini a lot more if it tackled more serious issues rather than catering towards older people who only want to see him make edgy lyrics targeted at younger generations, even if the latter option probably made the song more popular with his existing fans. That’s just my opinion though
I actually haven’t heard an album since Eminem Show. I’ve heard a few songs, but started getting away from rap not long after that one dropped. Seems like he still has a healthy fan base. Is still on top of the game? I have no idea.
I agree with pretty much everything u said in this video. He reached heights in 99-03 that most rappers to this day have not reached. That is why he’s one of the best to ever do it, unfortunately because of the drugs he tarnished his career with encore & every album after that, there is no denying his pen but the quality of the music is what matters the most aswell , he has turned into what he once hated early on in his career , an old bitter man. Of course it was a number of things that lead to his downfall, dealing with the fame , going through stuff in his personal life etc but the most detrimental thing being drugs, I think if he hadn’t become a drug addict, encore would have definitely been another classic. Would he have retired idk but he definitely would’ve still taken a hiatus & when he came back his voice wouldn’t be so different from the drugs & he probably would still be producing ok music, I say “ok” music obviously he still would’ve never been as good as TES & MMLP But unfortunately this is the reality we’re in & i can confidently say it will never be like it was 20 years ago. & I can confidently say this album will suck
I humbly disagree, but I'm too lazy to type a full on argued criticism, so I'll just say it politely unlike most other people commenting here. Have an amazing day !
Encore "All in all, a rough project" I still wouldn't say all in all because of 5 songs out of 23 songs. That album is still solid. You all just repeat what the last person says.
Bro I appreciate the effort you took in making this video. That being said, the opinions expressed in this video in my and everyone else's opinion are ridiculously off-base.
I totally disagree here. The only album after MMLP2 that I think is bad was Revival: everything else was fine, meaning I don’t believe he dropped 3 bad albums ‘back to back to back’. Also in terms of Kamiakze: I don’t think people only liked it because it felt like a breath of fresh air due to Revival, there’s also the fact that when it dropped it took the music industry by storm, people also liked it because they believed it was a return of ‘Old Eminem’ because it brought back many aspects of Eminem’s older music that people missed like the disses, the controversy and the Paul Skits. Also when you made the point that people liked Kamikaze because it felt like a breath of fresh air compared to Revival and you said it was due to a bias that arose due to Revival being bad, I think this sort of bias can and has gone both ways. On one hand you get people who think the next project is good just because it feels like a breath of fresh air compared to the last project(even if it’s not that good), but on the other side of things you get people who pre judge the album just because of how bad the last one before even giving it a chance. What sometimes happens is that haters will spread a narrative that a certain number of albums (or songs) are trash and keep trying to continue it every time that artist drops a new project (even if it wasn’t that bad). For my final point: MTBMB isn’t bad at all, I liked it: mostly due to the production on the album, I think it’s one of his best produced albums and it think it’s pretty good lyrically (despite a few questionable lines here and there). The only problem I had was that it didn’t properly stick to the Hitchcock theme but I still enjoyed it overall. Out of the 20 songs: there were 9 that I absolutely loved.
@@MajestiBrown "Terrible Opinions" = "He has a taste in music that I don't, therefore it's bad" You can't objectively judge something that's subjective.
Lemme get this straight. So you're basically saying that Eminem should abandon the Slim Shady persona and try something new, right? Then what's the point of the video? As the title of the album says, Slim Shady will be gone. Eminem even *promised* that. And when you're talking about MTBMB and say that it's worse then Revival, do you mean side A, side B? Or both? Cuz, if it's both, that's gotta be one of the worst takes I've ever heard. And also claiming that Godzilla was trying to be a mainstream song is downright stupid. They clearly hint in the MV that it's a farewell to Juice WRLD. And saying that none of the albums after The Eminem Show were good. This, This is pure stupidity. This is mostly opinion oriented, but when you say that "On release was actually very-well received by everybody" about Kamikaze, what's your fucking excuse then? The only albums the general public finds "Bad" are Encore and Revival. That's it. In the eye's of the public, Relapse (which I love) had fairly positive reviews, Recovery had mixed to positive reviews, The MMLP2 was very positively received, Kamikaze was mostly positive, same with MTBMB Side A, but side B was better and more loved. You are not MGK, don't say this because you care about him. You don't. If you did, you'd actually give some criticism instead of whatever this BS is. This video basically is: "I don't like his 3 last albums, so that means that the new one is gonna suck, even though one of the songs from the album got released as a single and is reviewed with overwhelming positivity." And he also sprinkles a couple of shit opinions.
I loved Eminem's first albums and even enjoyed a few of his newer songs like Godzilla and Houdini, but you do have some very fair criticisms in the video.
There's so many weird and over-the-top statements in this, it feels like you either barely listen to eminem, or this is a very subtle rage-bait. I geniuenly can't tell which one it is though, lol
Dude. I totally agree with you, Eminem is my Favourite rapper of all time, , Everything you’re saying is true. But you know what, just Let Eminem do what he wants. I agree/ disagree…I feel like it’s good we got both Relapse and Recovery! Personally I believe MMLP2 and The Eminem show are Marshall’s 2 most perfectly crafted, raw, operatic and lyrically just out of this world albums. I’m just going to simplify it all Eminem’s albums from infinite to Revival are perfect. But , let him do what he wants , no point in criticizing him.
While I disagree with some takes (Like MTBMB being worse than Revival) I agree with some too. Relapse is very underrated. It was definitely ahead of its time and influence is overwhelming. The problem was the execution, which is where I believe that Eminem is still lacking. You see he has very great ideas but the delivery/execution that he puts out is VERY VERY hit or miss. Relapse was a very good album but I can't deny that some creative choices he chose did drag it a little, like his constant changing of accents/voices or whatever you wanna call it. What's funny is that honestly his "best" work recently HAS been relapse style. I personally think Framed is great, minus the god awful hook, which is literally a 3 AM Prequel/Sequel. Another track that I think is good is Discombobulated, which honestly is the best "Bringing back old slim shady" type song he has made. It's such a fun autobiographical song. So clearly Relapse is the style of Slim Shady people want but what's crazy is that Relapse is one of Eminem's least favorite albums he has made, in fact he hates it, even more than Encore. Which is why he made Recovery yes, and while recovery was more serious it also started the trend of pop singers getting featured, like Rihanna, P!nk, Skylar Grey, even Ed Sheeran 💀. Thankfully he seems to be moving away from that and bringing back more rappers. So I say this to fix his Slim Shady problem: Stop the radio hit songs. We don't need any of these pop singers on your albums, have actual rappers featured. Make less songs about actual presidential politics, we've heard enough atp. If you're going to mention a president make fun of/talk about something they did, not say "don't vote for x". Stop talking about cancel culture seriously no one is actually cancelling people anymore. Talk about current things happening that no one wants to say but should be said. Be dark while also light hearted. Sound relaxed and have a smooth flow. OVERALL JUST HAVE FUN. It's Slim Shady, we should be be shocked and laughing at stuff.
Glad to see someone else agrees killshot is overrated. MGK had some corny lines in his track but I still think he won , he had more facts. Em was just like “yeh I’m richer, u got a man bun”
Encore was decent (some fuckin dope songs), Relapse was great imo, Recovery is a classic, MMLP2 is pretty good, Kamikaze is phenomenal start to finish, MTBMB was a great album and honestly. Ppl shit on revival too much. I’ve listened to every song many times, and 90% of the album is amazing. Songs like Framed are horrible. But ones like Tragic Endings, Believe, Offended are fucking phenomenal.
Revival was the only trash album, Encore was mid but not terrible, Kamikaze and Music to be murdered by are decent, His first 3 albums are outstanding and then Relapse and Recovery are honestly underrated.
I do not listen to Eminem a lot but every time I hear one of his raps you know it's fire. I think like many others I just came to say that Eminem is always a great rapper. No one picks beef with Eminem because of how good he is.
You didn't even present an argument as to WHY the album is gonna suck (hint: that's the title of the video) all you did was do a career summary sprinkled with your opinions.
Bro can't believe a good comeback he only wants bad things cuz he's that one emo kid in school who constantly says "I hate my life" like bro shut up and grow some balls and swallow the pill
Anyone hating Em is either: 1. Racist. 2. Simply doesn't like his style... which is fine (BUT you CANNOT deny his technical skill, sales, career run, accolades, producing talent, word play, and ability to hang with the best of the best - I don't LIKE listening to the Beatles, or Led Zeplin - it's not my style - but it is dumb as shit to say they aren't AMAZING at what they do... same with Taylor Swift (I hate her music... but she IS, IN FACT, a solid musician). 3. A bitter hater. Eminem is amongst the greatest selling musicians OF ALLL TIME, and THE greatest selling Hip Hop Artist OF ALLL TIME! It is NOT because he is WHITE (Vanilla Ice, MGK, Everlast, Mac Miller, Tom Mac Donald, etc.... they would ALLL be blowing shit up if it was because of skin tone... but instead, they have all been laughed at and attempted to be chased OUT of rap. Em has done it IN SPITE of his skin color... so I would say he has faced even bigger hurdles than any other rapper out there. Em isn't my favorite rapper... "favorite" for me is the one I enjoy listening to the most (which is JID, Joyner Lucas, Kendrick, and Cole) but he is, undisputededly the BEST there is. Numbers don't lie, sales don't lie. He is a fucking creative monster and I am sick of that man not getting his respect... especially when he is on tracks and BODIES other GREATS in the industry like Jay, Wayne, Kanye, Busta, Royce, Tech N9ne, Dre, Snoop... when you have songs being taught in Harvard music classes because of their meter, content and context, rhyme sequence, and sylabic mastery AS POETIC DEVICES [songs like- Best Friend, I am, Stan, Renegade, collapse, Lose Yourself, Homicide, Tone Deaf, Kill Shot, etc.... these have ALL been lectured on in Ivy League Schools because of the syllables, meter, arrangements, rhyme structure, contextual storytelling/allegory/huperbole/and onomatopoeia applications. And is PROVEN to be the most prolific, most technically diverse, and most complex artist when it comes ro playing with meter and sequence in his songs... and this is a consensus amongst the TOP poetic and creative writing professors from Harvars, Stanford, University of Miami (with Dr. Breed offering a PhD level course on contemporary prose and Eminem being THREE WEEKS of his course in direct comparison to poets and song writers over the last 400 years - arguing that Eminem has the most comprehensive collection of works that explore the most complex elements of writing anyone could produce), and at Columbia. Again, not to seem like I am worship the guy... I am not. He is MAYBE in my top 20... but he is UNDENIABLY the best at the craft...and none of this even addresses that he composes his own beats, produces, mixes, etc... not just for himself but for other artists as well. Give the man his fucking recognition and quit hatin!!!!
"he hasn't come out with 1 good album". What? Lol. I can agree that Death Of Slim Shady will not totally bring back the old sound.. just like MMLP2 failed to do that. I can agree that his first 3 albums were the peak... But to shit on all the other music is wild to me.. I feel like fans are just robbing themselves out of enjoyment with this mindset. Encore was a drop off from TES but it was a good album Relapse aged like fine wine.. still can listen front to back. Recovery was great. I liked it better than Relapse and felt like he brought it back close to TES form. MMLP2 was good on its own without trying to measure it up to MMLP. Shady XV and Revival were sub par. Kamikaze was great Music To Be Murdered by was solid aside from a few tracks. How about just not listen to him or do content on him if you've thought none of the albums were good since 2002? lol

Relapse was genuinely fan-fucking-tastic
Damn right, Refill too.
more like fan-"fack"ing-tastic
Nah, I think bc of how shit the recent albums have been it makes Relapse look better than it actually is. For me it's OK. Just Ok
@@JaedensGamingBananaTree I place relapse higher than slim shady lp. It was fan-fucking-tastic.
@@dergeradeweg1413 yeah, no.
I would disagree lol i think Em doesn't need to prove anything at this point. respect him for all that he has done for music by just enjoying the ride. its like shitting on an old army vet.
Revival - Bad
MMLP2 - Overall not very good but had a few good songs
Kamikaze - Great
Recovery - Great
Relapse - Great
Encore - Good/Very Good
MTBMB - Mostly very good
Gotta laugh at these teenage - early 30 year old so-called Eminem "Fans" who say...
"Everything after his 3rd major label album has sucked."
"I am/was a huge Eminem fan but basically every album he's ever made sucks"...
"He hasn't been able to maintain popularity because he sucks and never reinvented himself"...(even tho EVERY single album he's made is completely different than his previous albums. And he continues to break sales records and is always top of the charts when he releases a new album.)
"He lost his beef with MGK. Killshot didn't live up to the hype"... (Yup, thanks for exposing yourself for what you are)
All facts. Meanwhile Em just passed Drake on Spotify and is now the most followed rapper 🔥
They’re nothing but parrots repeating what they here without having their own thoughts 🤷♂️
MMLP2 is great and only has like 2 or 3 bad songs
Lmao. Eminem dished out alot of negativity in his career, but cries when it happens to him.
how old are you?
I love Relapse and Recovery but basically everything else is terrible. Agree with most of your opinions and Em def needs to retire
Dude, the fact that you think Em is tarnishing his legacy just shows the fact that you don’t understand Hip Hop
Should've titled it "Why this Video is gonna Flop" lol
watched the whole thing and couldn't DISAGREE more.
On one hand you get people who think the next project is good just because it feels like a breath of fresh air compared to the last project(even if it’s not that good), but on the other side of things you get people who pre judge the album just because of how bad the last one before even giving it a chance (which is sort of what your doing here)
Why can't people critique Eminem??? Why yall gotta take it so personal. 🤣 you are just mad ur fav has made some trash music and can't admit it.
Trash why? Because you said so? The guy is still one of the greatest of all time and his last album went platinum
@gustavooliveiraduarte-265 just because an album went platinum doesn't mean it's good lmao
True, and just because you think it's bad doesn't mean it's actually bad. @gabbyparker1869
@@gabbyparker1869Obviously he made trash albums but this guy’s opinion is just a big hot take
I love searching for hate videos like these to see people clowning on them, because it gives me pure JOY.
I wonder what the like-to-dislike ratio is on this video is.
He is corny 🗑️.
The amount of hive mind sheep in the comments not being able to handle that some people don’t enjoy Eminem, is pathetic.
The general dumbing down of society is becoming more prevalent everyday.

I'd be curious to hear a better explanation as to why you think MTBMB Side A and B was terrible... what about those albums was so terrible?
As a huge Eminem fan I appreciate your take on the subject. I personally have faith that this next album will be good, but will admit I am worried because old slim was just something else and Em while still amazing in every aspect, is just not the same. Not in a bad way but he is different. Thank you for sharing your opinion! The internet is not known for not thinking before they speak so sorry for the backlash
Update?
Fun fact: Eminem and kendrick has the most obnoxious fanbase.
My Attention seeker radar is going off
This guy probably thinks that Drake won the beef💀
If you hold other artists to the same standard, you will see that they all put out trash albums...
buddy you cant hate on eminem without getting hate back 💀
I actually haven’t heard an album since Eminem Show.
Would he have retired idk but he definitely would’ve still taken a hiatus & when he came back his voice wouldn’t be so different from the drugs & he probably would still be producing ok music, I say “ok” music obviously he still would’ve never been as good as TES & MMLP
But unfortunately this is the reality we’re in & i can confidently say it will never be like it was 20 years ago. & I can confidently say this album will suck
I humbly disagree, but I'm too lazy to type a full on argued criticism, so I'll just say it politely unlike most other people commenting here.
Have an amazing day !
Encore "All in all, a rough project"
I still wouldn't say all in all because of 5 songs out of 23 songs.
The MTBMB slander is insane💀 Worse than Revival? Seriously?
This is just sad

You can't objectively judge something that's subjective.
@@kv-31researchdivision There are ways to objectively judge rap. Do your research.
This video basically is: "I don't like his 3 last albums, so that means that the new one is gonna suck, even though one of the songs from the album got released as a single and is reviewed with overwhelming positivity." And he also sprinkles a couple of shit opinions.
ain’t no way bro wrote a whole essay cuz he was offended by someone’s opinion

The comments gotta stop hating I'm a huge Em fan but to act like he's never put out a bad album is crazy
I really hope this the last of Eminem he hit his peak long ago
Bro's gonna get dissed by slim shady himself 💀🤚
I loved Eminem's first albums and even enjoyed a few of his newer songs like Godzilla and Houdini, but you do have some very fair criticisms in the video.
There's so many weird and over-the-top statements in this, it feels like you either barely listen to eminem, or this is a very subtle rage-bait. I geniuenly can't tell which one it is though, lol
I can understand some of his thoughts, but saying Music To Be Murdered By is a terrible album is insane.
I agree for the most part but Em fans on the internet are rabid and will tear you to shreds for speaking the truth
Uh oh he just pissed off all the Eminem stans who don't listen to any other rap
Bro wants a diss track so badly 💀💀💀
Eminem had a lot better bars and wordplay compared to Rap Devil
lol, he literally called Eminem the goat…on a diss track. That’s an automatic L

Yeah but still better production on the album than whatever you could do even if the songs were to be bad (they wont be)
Anyone hating Em is either:
1. Racist.

What?
Encore was a drop off from TES but it was a good album
Relapse aged like fine wine.. still can listen front to back.
Recovery was great. I liked it better than Relapse and felt like he brought it back close to TES form.
MMLP2 was good on its own without trying to measure it up to MMLP.
Shady XV and Revival were sub par.
Kamikaze was great
Music To Be Murdered by was solid aside from a few tracks.
How about just not listen to him or do content on him if you've thought none of the albums were good since 2002? lol
