Really really enjoyed Bat-Man First Knight. To be honest I was very much looking forward to reading this. And I was very impressed by what I read. Like the story alot. Really enjoy a Batman comic book that is set in a different time period, like Batmans costume in here, it looks really close to the costume he was wearing in his very first appearance. The mystery is pretty good, . I'm liking the rabbi character, he seems like a good character Batman could use for support possibly and advice going forward. The Gordon Batman feels like it's working to building their trust, like their conservations. Jim Gordon feels a lot more like a father figure to Bruce Wayne in this story. the art is top notch very gritty grimy Gotham is shown in the art. , reminds me of an old film noir movie you would see Bogart in. the art is really well done, with regards to how characters are drawn, guessing that's how Gordon look liked in older Batman comics. l read this three times, probably going to re read more than that. just really liking this world they are creating, story, curious to see where the story goes next, curious who's behind it all, . Some people may have issues with Batman's ears on his cowl, that didn't bother me. agree with you the dialogue does sound like it comes out of an old black and white movie. this could end up being one of my favorite comic book reads of 2024. very excited for issue two.
