Developers seem to think that Single Player story driven games require non stop cinematics, unskippable or must watch cutscenes (if you want to know what to do next), and interrupting gameplay tips and quips. 2022 was filled with these AAA games. You know, if the art style was a bit cartoonish, the dialogue would have been given a pass But believe or not art style sets expectations If you have a realistic art style you better have realistic dialogue or atleast a bit believable Art style with cartoon dialogue gives cringe or uncanny feeling That's the problem with a lot of triple A games
The excessive reliance on 3d scanned human heads is what gives this "uncanny" feel to the characters. Human scans rarely work perfectly in 3d unless you nail the shading.
You'd think after what happened with "Beyond Two Souls" or even with what porn animaters do with character models, that the actors would be more reluctant to lend their likeness to a game.

One of the things I noticed in the stream that bothered me was that she can run really fast in battle, but in the cutscenes she might as well be walking away from danger. LIke you hadm't just spent ten minutes using her powers in a boss fight to avoid shit like an expert
One thing these animators don't seem to understand about human anatomy (there's more but this one stood out to me the most) is when people speak they don't lift their upper lip (so as to see the upper teeth). That's why the dialog animations look so awkward.

Developers seem to think that Single Player story driven games require non stop cinematics, unskippable or must watch cutscenes (if you want to know what to do next), and interrupting gameplay tips and quips. 2022 was filled with these AAA games. One thing these animators don't seem to understand about human anatomy (there's more but this one stood out to me the most) is when people speak they don't lift their upper lip (so as to see the upper teeth). That's why the dialog animations look so awkward.

I think the worst thing about the game is it's price, 80 euros! Even if it was a 9/10 we shouldn't be supporting such anti consumer pricing like that. But it isn't a 9/10, its ridiculous how they can keep on making worse and worse games and charge us more and more. That's also why you shouldn't accept 70 euros, its clear they will just keep on increasing the price forever.

Why do people buy a bad game and then complain it was too expensive? Piracy is a thing. It's not legal but I don't think selling shit for people to play with is legal either and they get away with it.

Forspoken sucks, that i agree with, but the fact that synthetic man actually cared enough to point out the fact that there are a bunch of women in the game is pretty pathetic, like who gives a shit if the protagonist is black, or that the antagonist are women, like bro, a game is not woke just because it has women in the game. "Anti-woke" people are just as much clowns as woke people

I don’t think the game is racist at all because everything they show about the character seems pretty true to life.
I like the concept of this game more than the game itself
