Just got mine today, so thanks for the vid. Agree 100% with your upgrades needed! But I bought it really to virtually send gecode files and monitor them. Everything else is icing on the cake.
@@graphguy unfortunately, the box has been a consistent disappointment. They need to update the hardware, but I don't know if they will. The Sonic Pad is then focus now, with its far superior Klipper.
@@graphguy The Cloud Box is a Cracker Jack toy compared to the Sonic Pad. It runs Killer, rather than Octoprint, and yes, it support Timelapse, that actually works. I hope to find the time, to make a section on it, for 3DRUNDOWN.COM, and some YT videos.
I am very disappointed in this box. You cannot access the TF card remotely to save gcode files. The printer connection is intermittent, and I have to restart the box to establish the connection again. The Creality online slicer is pretty bad in my experience, it has two profiles, PLA and ABS. I wanted to print something in PETG with 30% cooling, and their online slicer has NO way of setting cooling, at least I am unable to find it. But the intermittent connection alone is bad. I stopped using mine
I have a solid connection on all 5 of my boxes, for months now. You don't upload to the card, you upload to Creality Cloud, or, print direct from the Cura, vis Creality Cloud, via a Cura Plugin
@@3DRundown Does this mean I would be able to print with Ultimaker Cura directly from my computer via the Creality Cloud desktop application? Please let me know if you have a video on this :)
Mine arrives tomorrow! Looking forward to see how this works. Need to print a deviled egg holder, will be the cameras first test. Thanks for the link :)
Hi Gregg, do you know if the Creality Smart Kit works properly with the Creality CR200B printer?
Yes it is.
Does it work with the creality ender 3 max neo?
Should
Can it work on other printers other than creality printers ?
Possibly, as some machine use Creality boards, but, I only know how to work with it on Creality machines. I use 5 or 6 of them regularly.

Hey, you think i can send gcodes thru this box from my laptop ?
Yep, you print to it from Creality Cloud. However, a Sonic Pad is the better choice. BUT, this is low cost and simple to setup
Is there an option to pause / stop printing if an error occurs!!
YES. You have full control over your printer on Creality Cloud, and it's WAY better, than at the time of this video.

Lot's of updates since this video. Make sure you update the firmware
@3D Rundown did that! ...but the video disconnects are pretty bad still and not having any control over the camera settings is weak. 😞

@3D Rundown I don't mind blowing $150 on the Sonic.. do you think it is more reliable and feature rich? Does it do all the octolapse features?

thank you
Cloud Box and Creality Cloud have come a LONG way since this review. Highly reccomended.

While other camera's have mixed results, the Creality one WILL work.
