hi friend. i wanted to ask you something. i have creality s5 printer and i have already pluged in it 3d screen pad. now i want to buy this cloud box but the problem is they both must be pluged on same micro usb port. will it work if i connect them with usb splitter or its just not possible use them together?
Minha Ender 3 esta com uma placa SKR Mini E3 V3, e não pode ser conectada ao aplicativo, você pode precisar fazer alguma atualização no firmware da SKR para que ela permita o monitoramento e controle pela Creality box?
Hi, you can use computer, of course. So far only with Android emulator like BlueStacks and this works really fine, in near future printing should be possible directly from cloud webpage.
Hello ! I do not want to work with Creality wifi box with skr mini v2.0 board. and with the new android. I set this board because my Ender 3 was running quietly. help to understand. how to make work
I had octopi but it was a headache so I just changed to the Creality box, the app is shit kinda trying to be half a social all, but you can make a model in the PC and upload it to the Cloud, print it and then delete it, the Social media part of the app for example I think is not necessary at all, if they made a light version of the app just for printing it would be much better, but it seems really easy to install, i will install it tomorrow, thanks man, your video was nice.
Hi i have a very important question: Can you share your printer/ creality box 2.0 with somebody else. I want to share it with somebody else in my household so whe can control the printer from the creality app at the same time. Is this posible???
Hi ! excellent video I have a problem with printer ender 6 and I think this wifi box could be the solution. 1. My question is: If I write the g-code directly to the wifi box's with sd card , can I print it from there, with the printer screen? I explain why my question. In the mode vase (spiralizer) the ender6 does not execute, as sending and recording do not happen quickly from the reader/printer screen. I thought of connecting directly to the motherboard (micro usb port at address 6) and using the wifi box as a mode print in vase mode. Can you help me in 1.? thankful
I just connected Box to my Ender-3 V2 and it works as I expected. Slices (gcode files) can be uploaded to cloud webpage so there is no need to use any web slicer. And if you use Cura slicer, there is plugin available so you can upload your slices directly from Cura. Printing is still possible only through Android application, but this application works just fine in BlueStacks emulator. Moreover Creality seems to be working on direct printing from cloud webpage. For my needs is WiFi box ideal solution as I do not need to control dozens of parameters like Octoprint allows you, I upload gcode file to web, start the print and watch the progress from living room siting on sofa :-)
OctoPi works on Raspberry Pi 3B too, rm155 on Cytron. Raspi 5MP camera module, rm40. The Cloud Box features look interesting until I saw that the Creality 3D viewer camera costs rm220++... I guess I'll wait and see what's next since OctoPi works great right now.
Creality Box: + cheapest + Simple - Spying - STL cloud upload stealing Octopi: +Features +Open Source +STL safe +No Spying - Cost But I end up using Pi Zero W, using without webcam so no problem. Even cheaper than Creality Wifi Box ;) For camera I have Wyze/Neos. Things I would like to see on either: Fast direct gcode upload to tf micro SD card If this was all perfect, then I would use a conveyor belt printer to batch print and forget until complete.
I bought an Ender 6 printer and was supplied a CrealityBox in the bundle, however the Ender 6 has no USB ports to connect to so the box is useless to me. a bit of an oversight there Creality.
Oh yeah ... The CR 6 can be supported off the shelf... But we haven't got our hands on Ender 6 yet. Funny that the Creality Box is supplied with a printer without USB port
@@KakiDIY Yeah the E-6 only has an SD Card slot. i looked all around the screen housing (and even under the machine) but there is no USB. I'm also puzzled by the inclusion of the Creality Box and I was planning on calling the store I bought it from to see if they had included it.
@@M43L57R0M I don't know if you figured out the solution or have given up or whatever, but if you pop the bottom panel off there is actually a micro USB port on the motherboard itself, so you can wire the box into that directly and probably end up with a cleaner look.
bad idea is when you published on their website. Get ready for your ideas to be stolen. Makerbot already did this way and took alot from the community.
This was very easy to follow, and I appreciate the review! Thank you!
so the 3D printer software updates by itself once the creality box is connected?

Does every print have to use a cellphone?
can't use the computer?

Have to install the app in their phone but use the same login. Good question, never tested this

Can it work on the regular cr-10 or only the cr-10 smart
Can you start the printer while u are on a other wifi?
Yes. Even on mobile network outside of the house.
@@KakiDIY ty :)))
Can it be run on a desk top computer instead of a phone?
Sadly not directly out of the box... However, there's hope : hackaday.com/2020/12/28/teardown-creality-wifi-box/
I thought that with this box I could be able to print from my computer, not only from the app in the smarphone. Something useless this way.

Single box support 2 machines!??
Idts
2 Machines concurrently, no.
creality box does nor download the to the printer please help

Can the box turn on the printer by itself? Or to print I have to manually turn it on every time
Sadly it cant. Both the printer and the box must be on all the time for it to work.
I have connected to it and when I go to print it says downloaded but then it won't do anything else.
still having the same issue? I haven't seen this issue before.. been trying to simulate it. Maybe format the SD card and try again?
Great review!
I would like to get my hands on this soon!
Me too!

you would expect something like this to have a PC interface. Waste of my money

As in their STL libraries? Hahha.. We agree!
Thingiverse FTW!
Can this be used on pc instead of a phone
