    Great job Maliek! I would imagine (since I'm not a heavy user) that for people who edit regularly and reuse video clips, this is a real game-changer. I do use it and love it even as an occasional user because it helps me stay organized and - like you said - I don't have to re-trim clips if I re-use them or if I delete them and add them back later. I could even see heavy users, like vloggers, creating projects solely as a library of pre-cut clips and bringing that project into the current project as needed. Combine this with the Alias ability to name the clip anything you want.

    If i trim the footage with multy trim tool and automaticly the trimmed clips take place in the time line, the "trim to fit" and "speed up to fit" options are not visible when i try to put a longer clip in a small gap and vice versa .
    But if i cut the wanted parts of the imported video with the split button, when i put these parts in smaller or bigger gaps then i can see these options.
    What is happening and which is the best way to keep the wanted parts of a imported video?
    Multi trimming or split the parts i want to keep and delete the rest parts?

      Depends on what you want to do. If you want the additional options you referred to the split option is best.

      Miguel Angel Arceri In that version you need to delete the other two clips from the timeline, produce the video,undo twice to bring the clips back to the timeline, etc.

    Meliek, I love your videos and am learning fast. I have a question. Is this the right place to ask it and get an answer? I'll ask it and if it's not the right place you can tell me. I am using Elgato and Powerdirector 17 to convert some old home movies from VHS to DVD. Problem is when I produce them, a 2 hour movie on VHS makes an 8.86 GB file using MPEG-2, 12080x720. My DVDs will only hold 4.7 gig. What can I do to make the file size fit the DVD?

    • @PDU_Tutorials
      @PDU_Tutorials  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      If you are selecting High Quality/HQ select a lower quality and the file size will be smaller. You could split the video into two DVDs if you don't want to degrade quality. Otherwise you might need to use a different program to burn the disc.
