    This is great and very helpful Maliek ! An additional question...if I'm using Multicam Editing and swapping between several cameras, at the end of that process I'll end up with a single timeline video file, comprised of the several cameras video stream. Can I then use your 'camera movements' method, and go into that composite-camera timeline, and implement pans/zooms on each of the cameras ....or do I have to do panning/zooming on each individual camera's footage BEFORE Multicam Editing ? Or...do I have to 'produce' the Multicam Edited footage first, and then use your 'camera movements' on the various segments of the produced video ?

    • @PDU_Tutorials
      @PDU_Tutorials  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      You can do the camera movements after. After the multi-cam process is complete the timeline should be multiple clips which you can apply effects or movement to.

    • @PDU_Tutorials

      Hector T Depends on the resolution of the video. If it’s 4K it probably won’t affect much. If it is 1080p and a low bit rate you may not want to zoom in as much. Look at the result and determine how much you can zoom in without losing quality.

      I don't have a video that does all of those things at once. The video you commented on should assist with the movement and zoom. You can also watch this video th-cam.com/video/RmhSUnGKpZ0/w-d-xo.html just don't use the highlight part. You can watch this video to mask. th-cam.com/video/EGwvJNfHZSU/w-d-xo.html

      @@PDU_Tutorials Sorry late getting back to you, working outside spring cleanup. More info on project: GoPro mounted on chest plate on my body. I have two movements to overcome- me and speaker. Used Crop & Zoom, Video Stablizer and Edge Enhancement tools to do the project. Looks great. Thanks again for all of your videos and help. David

    Is there any way to speed up the panning?

    • @PDU_Tutorials
      @PDU_Tutorials  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Move the keyframes closer together. The closer they are the faster the movement.

    Would the video lose resolution?

    • @PDU_Tutorials
      @PDU_Tutorials  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes, zooming in always decreases resolution. The higher resolution you start off with the better results you will have.

    Good trick. However, I noticed that the sharpness of the video was much softer when I tried.

    • @PDU_Tutorials
      @PDU_Tutorials  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@ciprianofernandes1486 Yes. There's nothing you can do about that. That happens every time you zoom in on any program. Film with the highest resolution possible and the quality decrease is less noticeable when you zoom in.

    Anybody willing to give a few tips: I want to insert an object into a frame and then have it move across the screen, left to right, over a three second period. Motion tracking doesn't do it. How do I make this happen without insert object over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over?

    • @PDU_Tutorials
      @PDU_Tutorials  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Add the picture of the frame to your timeline > left click the pic > Designer > PIP Designer > Go to Position > Add Keyframe > Move Frame into position > Move forward one frame > Move frame into position > Add Keyframe.
      Keep doing that every frame until you get to the end of the clip.

      Creative decision? You can zoom in or out whenever you want to create whatever look you'd like.
