Why isn't the umpire intervening? Surely it's not allowed to humiliate the number one of the world (at that moment). It almost seems unnecessary at moments. He's definitely in Nadals head.... and apparently that's possible. When you have accomplished that Nadals is going to keep making unforced errors and serving double faults. Something a number one in the world doesn't really make.
What?????? The tennis expressed by Dustin Brown is something that goes beyond world number 1. Nadal must be grateful that true talents like Kyrgios or Brown don't repeat themselves but the following year Wimbledon mistreated him again
Yeah but his style wasn't geared that way. He took alot more risks, often reckless ones like the leaps and jumps which only paid off some of the time. It was entertaining for the audience but in tennis terms it wasnt a formula for success and the other issue was he wasn't so good on hard court surfaces. His magic worked best on grass or clay because his weapon of choice was drop shots which weren't as effective on hard courts with too much bounce for opponents to get to them. As a result he never progressed past round two of any slam EXCEPT Wimbledon where he beat guess who? This guy. And that was the best he ever did, round three of Wimbledon where he then got beaten. But trick shot players rarely get to the top, Gael Monfils has done better cos though he does trick shots he plays a more standard game in comparison to Brown who is more about the entertainment than wanting to be an orthodox champion. Unfortunately you can't have both.
Rafael Nadal played bad in 2012,2013,2015 Wimbledon and lost to other players. Rafael Nadal played best in Wimbledon 2014,17 and lost in close and tight matches.
Rafael Nadal is 2 time Wimbledon champion He reached total 5 Wimbledon finals in his peak time on grass factually He reached Wimbledon semi finals in Wimbledon 2018,2019,2022. past results and present results we should take it mostly by that rafael Nadal is great grass court player for sure.
@@M.EngelhART Schon der Spielstand war aber dafür auch eindeutiger. Djokovic und Nadal spielen auch so ziemlich immer lange Ballwechsel da geht es bei einem Serve and Volley Spieler natürlich flotter.

Djokovic knew how to handle him but Nadal really didn't, Brown's forte was either grass or clay where he could place those drop shots he loved so much without any bounce, especially grass which has no bounce at all. No surprise his best career result was beating Nadal on grass at Wimbledon to get through to the third round. He didn't do so well on hard courts which is what stopped him progressing further in any hard court tournaments.
Yeah...the biggest mistake of Nadal was not faking a knee injury when Brown broke his first two serve games in the second set.
that's only something Novak does though
But he was faking in AO final 2014

Dustin Brown had to do just one small thing to be the GOAT: play like this consistently.

Best tennis game I have ever seen in a player. Dustin Brown could pulverise the 3 GOATS, if he was a bit more consistent
Lol no

Federer, Djokovic and Murray easily beat Dustin Brown.
This is just so enjoyable!
He made one of the GOATs look like a one dimensional player😂
It's no normal. Tennis galactic never seen into the court of tennis. Incredible performance
At least at Wimbledon Nadal won 1 set from Dustin.
Halle open surface is faster then Wimbledon it is not easy to win it for sure
Serve and volley is right way to win it
Poor nadal .at the end he had to swallow his pride and frustration
Schooled? When had nadal talked shit? Or ego?

One of the only times rafa genuinely gave up. That's how good brown was

Dustin plays for tennis, Nadal plays for money.

What a stupid comment, Nadal has enough money to burn it in front of you, and he keeps playing.
