The player I love to watch play the most is Emperor Federer. No brainer. A close second is Mr. Dustin Brown. The amount of joy he brings to the tennis court is just awesome.
Sorry, can someone explain 9:38? Dustin seems to have caught the ball on a slice attempt and then he hits it for the second time to finish off the point. I have read the rules on the double hit and it seems confusing as to whether it was a single continuous motion. Thanks.
Would be the greatest if born in another era when talent mattered more than today's endless hours of ball hitting, management teams, 5 personal trainers, diet schedules, and who knows what else.
@ 6:54 simply amazing. This guy is like a magician and a contortionist, he @ 10:13 head butts a ball for the point, (does that even count?) hahahaha. Wow! Very entertaining guy to watch. More please. :)
You don't think DB is "consistent"? OK, let's put him against your club champ / uni #1 / state champ, &c. We're talking distinctions of 1-to-10^-8. Even being in _the draw_ at a major means you are one-in-ten-million. Enjoy the tennis, bro, learn from it []... and then go back to your GOAT boy-crush.
Sadly he's suffering from a severe herniated disc. You cannot operate on it and even if you do operate, your career is over. I have a very similar problem and I can pretty much assure you how it can make any sportsmen or women irregular in the field.
so entertaining watching him make his opponents scurry around the court all over. i bet he enjoys watching his opponents running all over around the court. i bet the opponent feels stupid running all over around the court. its good play to tire out your opponents and keep the opponent off guard and imbalanced.
This guy can't be a nice and friendly person in real life. If your whole career revolves around enjoying humiliating top players.... It almost seems like he would rather humiliate someone then win the game.
Dustin Brown might be flashy, but please realize he has spent the majority of his career on the Challenger Circuit as he is simply not good enough to play on the ATP tour very often.
I suppose that is the price one has to pay for flamboyance and fearlessness. From a spectator's point of view, it's what I want to see. I prefer to be entertained than to attempt to watch players who fear taking chances and being creative at making opportunities. Unfortunately, there are no bonus points for being imaginative, fearless and stylish. The main thing is Dustin clearly enjoys the game. He doesn't take himself nor his participations too seriously. Incidently, there have been other recognised greats who were never world champions, but were worthy of being so. Sir Stirling Moss race car driver and Jimmy White snooker player come to mind. To me they are both world champions.
sonicstep ...... Brown simply is not a very good player, he is a sideshow who plays the majority of his matches on the Challenger circuit. If you prefer to watch him as opposed you other players, that’s your prerogative ✌️
I disagree with that. With a career high of 64 and 3 mil price money you are an ATP-level player. He lacks consistency, that is true, but the thing is, why does he lack it? For what I see and hear about him (I live close to his home club), his biggest problem is his health, specifically his back. He has months and months, probably years in total of back injury time. Not severe i.a. not being able to live, but unable to compete at the level he has shown to be capable of. You see a lot of matches, where he can't go 100%, often obvious with his serve. And thats when he plays even riskier to keep plays short. You and me, we both know, how important match routine is and he just never seems to have a longer playing streek. Not saying, he'd be a grand slam winner if and when, but he's definitely, like really definitely ATP-level. And keep in mind he's 36 already, where health issues get even worse.
@@tepsi87 FACT - Brown played most of his career on the challenger circuit. FACT - Brown NEVER won an ATP tournament, never even came close. FACT - Brown is a journeyman tennis player who simply wasn’t very good.
@@xtraxtra171 You seem to fail to understand the difference between having the level/ability and having success. Two very different things. Besides, check your "FACTS": He has won two ATP doubles titles. Then he has played 13 ATP Quarterfinals and two ATP semifinals. Not too bad for a player you claim to be unable to compete in general at ATP level, or? And he beat two different world no. 1 players, Hewitt and Nadal. Nadal twice, as we all know. So, is he a successfull ATP-Player? No. Does he have the level to compete at ATP? Oh yes! And with less health issues more results like the achieved ones (tournament wins can obviously not be calculated in theory)? Most likely!
a pity he did not have the constancy to reach the top, because he has the qualities ... he remains the strongest loser in the history of tennis, one of my favorites
Dustin is my favorite to watch play.
Hsieh su wei and Dustin Brown would be an unstoppable team in mixed doubles.

Thank you for this beautiful show. they are my favorite players.
Brown has a magic fist. never seen the same
He is a joy to watch. So creative.
I love him so much because He plays a game with casual mind.. No tention No BP.. I am enjoying to watch. his matches❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Dustin- excuse me while i kiss the sky...

Que muñeca la Dustin ......grande hermano ...de Argentina 🇦🇷✌️👏.....2021 .....
He is so concious like lin
Dustin Brown is my favorite player tenis 🎾
the last header was the best 😀
This guy would have uncountable grandslams if Nadal was his opponent for every round. 😁
@Raj Hoya yea those two wins he rekt him
Only in grass
As soon as Brown comes to the net, you know you're going to end up on his highlight reel.
Brown - one man- one in a million))))
Incredible Dustin Brown!!
What?! Tomic can run for a ball?!?
Love DBs face after the excuse-me-half-volley winner (point from 6:20). "Sorry ... not sorry." The best!
Dustin how many stops you wanna play?!
Dustin: Yes!

The ball bounced twice so he was just having fun. If the ball hits or touches the player, that counts as a penalty.
Dustin ..mágico ....🇦🇷✌️👏..de Argentina ✌️ 2021
Although very good on specific point, it just show that you need to be consistant in tennis.

Dustin Brown est un joueur exceptionnel parmi d’autres évidemment , mais lui a des amortis qui sortent de l’ordinaire
One day he will get all major titles no doubt

Didn’t expect you to be here ahaha

Never understood why this player wasn’t consistently on the top 50-100 in his career,he had his peek in 2016 at age 31 but that’s it.

It's funner to watch than tennis. Let's make it 3pointer for successful dropshots, Dustin would win all the Grand Slams.
👏👏👏
Ever heard "drive for show …. putt for doe" ?...…. he's a driver
lol the header at the end
He just plays for fun. If he wanted to win he would have bern 20 years Nr. 1 and 80 grad slams. But he doesn t want to make the others cry
Legendary
as I have written elsewhere: he is the strongest loser in the history of tennis, but I enjoy watching his game more than 90% of the other games
Strongest loser...
He is more talented than federer surerly, but his inconsistency make him a 1 and federer is 10.
But he is more talented
