As a teen I saw Funkadelic playing at the Capital Center just outside DC. For me one of the high points of the show was Maggot Brain. I have listened to this song many times. Your cover is awesome!
I remember getting this way back in the late 70s or early 80s !! A bunch of us listened to this over and over. "Who says a funk band.. can't play rock, who says a rock band.can't play funk!?! ". We could never work out if you got the maggot brain single with the funkadelic album or the funkadelic album free with the single!! Lol.
