Oh wow ! I was waiting to get a unbiased review on the two , I haven’t yet tried the alpha arbutin from the minimalist probably because i so love the ordinary alpha arbutin . I’m now surely sticking with the ordinary alpha arbutin .
Never used ordinary so can't comment on the comparison.. Since I started using AA from minimalist I could notice a visible difference in my acne scars.. Its three months now I believe, although I have not been consistent with its usage yet it has given me remarkable results. . This video is unique and informative 👍

I have dry skin and i apply requil ceramide and hyaluronic moisturiser and after 3 or 4 hrs i skin fells a litter stretchy especially my cheeks area rest is ok what should I use to overcome this . I've started using the minimalist AA since 4-5 days so can't really talk about its effects. I did used the niacinamide serum from the ordinary and it didn't do any wonders for my skin, it was just like a regular serum ( it felt soapy on damp skin though so I was skeptical whether the product was original or not). I bought the minimalist because it was easily available and very affordable for a student like me.
Ordinary is always very good....maybe best as mid range serum...but I like minimalist...as at last minm some Indian brand is talking of science and making clear products...the comparison is very detailed and liked this video

I used the alpha arbutin for minimalist for about a month. I would see my moisturiser come off in clumps everytime I touched my face after using this serum. Initially I thought that my moisturiser might be reacting to the serum, cos I used to apply a combination of excela moisturiser and the minimalist moisturiser, but then after a few days, I solely used the minimalist moisturiser hoping that there would be no clumping since both r from the same brand. But the clumpy fall off of the moisturiser did not stop until the day I stopped using the alpha arbutin serum. Now i"ve moved back to their nicinamide serum and things are back to normal.

Hi rubina, AA from minimalist helped me in lightening some post acne pigmentations, but it dint perform against the very dark and tough ones. I still have them. I am in my second bottle and i think its been 3 months now.
I do love the way my skin feels after applying AA, i feel a smoothening effect like applying a primer, may be due to HA? I have never used any ordinary products so cant compare.

Just a few weeks ago I saw a video of yours (old one) saying "hell to d NO " to using minimalist products cause they r mimicking ordinary. I like watching your videos but it's confusing .
lol..did I also not say that I am waiting for the derm to let me know its ok to try thier products. I dont know how much you are aware of the brand and the story...but they did begin with some products that were very questionable. After a few of us called them out- the packaging changed, some of these products were stopped.... So sab jan hith mein hoe rahaa hai :) Minimalist, post the changes has become a good brand and like most of thier products.
Even with the best sunscreen the best option is just to stay away from the sun especially if you have pigmentation. Now you can try kaya, neutrogena, lacto calamine, la roche.

stop whatever is irritating your skin. moisturisers should never make eyes water or irritate them. Boroline as a moisturiser? not a good idea...its best for barrier repair. Chek my video on fungal acne to figure out what type of acne you have on the forehead...its most probably fungal/

Hey , i got alpha arbutin on 17april i opened it used it for some days and i was not able to use it for some months i have whole bottle left , can i use it now ? Or i should throw it😣 ?
I have used both of these serums and the ordinary one gave me really smooth and even skin basically a primer like finish. It helped me with my pigmentation as well. The minimalist didn't give me drastic changes. It was just a regular, watery serum. It didn't give me a filter like finish and the changes in my pigmentation was also not as good compared to the ordinary.
All three.., if just one and hyperpigmentation is the only issue then AA...out of the three actives mentioned this works the fastest with pigmentation...which is atleast 2 months of consistent use and proper sun protection during the day

I get it on amazon. The ordinary products now come with a blue number imprinted on the bottle so you can make it out from the fakes. the amazon link is in the description.

are you using vitc and retinoid as well? if not adding those really helps. post this bottle of minimalist try the TO AA.

I love their Niacinamide though
Try adding a vitc and retinoid if you havent already. But also try the AA from TO. its just different...

Minimalist Alpha arbutin is not suitable for oily skin. Gave me and my mom break outs. Although, it worked v well for my dad's dry skin.

I have experienced similar issues with niacinamide 10 percent. TO is just better. Better brightening and dark spot reduction.

Tanning is a natural process and some of us just tan faster....may be if you tan easily then try using an umbrella also.

Just a few weeks ago I saw a video of yours (old one) saying "hell to d NO " to using minimalist products cause they r mimicking ordinary.
I like watching your videos but it's confusing .
lol..did I also not say that I am waiting for the derm to let me know its ok to try thier products. I dont know how much you are aware of the brand and the story...but they did begin with some products that were very questionable. After a few of us called them out- the packaging changed, some of these products were stopped....

Even with the best sunscreen the best option is just to stay away from the sun especially if you have pigmentation. Now you can try kaya, neutrogena, lacto calamine, la roche.

stop whatever is irritating your skin. moisturisers should never make eyes water or irritate them. Boroline as a moisturiser? not a good idea...its best for barrier repair. Chek my video on fungal acne to figure out what type of acne you have on the forehead...its most probably fungal/

I actaully have the alpha arbutin from them..its got a lot of fragranc. I dont mind fragrances at all but yeh toe bhahut jayaadaa hai..so i could not use it.

I have never used alpha arbutin can i start with 2% minialist and should i use once or twice a day to se difference
i have acne scars still i don’t know which serum to use
I have used both of these serums and the ordinary one gave me really smooth and even skin basically a primer like finish. It helped me with my pigmentation as well. The minimalist didn't give me drastic changes. It was just a regular, watery serum. It didn't give me a filter like finish and the changes in my pigmentation was also not as good compared to the ordinary.

All three.., if just one and hyperpigmentation is the only issue then AA...out of the three actives mentioned this works the fastest with pigmentation...which is atleast 2 months of consistent use and proper sun protection during the day
