AJ+ obtained exclusive footage of the Ohio House Health Committee chair saying, “I have to have energy to stop this vaccine sh*t that’s coming.” We went to the Ohio Statehouse to find out what he meant, and how anti-vaxxers are playing an outsized role in the state’s politics.

What I’ve noticed here in the U.K. is that there’s definitely been a big uptick in anti-vax sentiment in recent years. It’s definitely not a uniquely American attitude anymore.
My parents got really sick from Pfizer and refused the 2nd shot. 2 of my friends were rushed to emergency after 1st shot of moderna and dr. told them 2nd shot will kill them. I’m definitely not taking it. All 4 of these people and myself are pro vax, but we’re definitely not taking this.

Look - if the vaccines work, why would people who are vaccinated be upset if other people chose to NOT be vaccinated (as a general rule - I know there are some exceptions)?
Yeah?! If you and your fam are vaxed you should have nothing to worry about, right? That's a fair question that I'm sure they have an answer to.
There are a few reasons why people are upset by people that don’t get vaccinated. One is that the more a virus spreads the more it has a chance to mutate. Another reason is that some people aren’t able to get the vaccine and therefore their safety relies on other people’s choices. Also because vaccines (while very effective) don’t make you invincible from getting sick. Though granted they make it much less likely that you get sick or have severe symptoms.
vaccines dont make people immune until there is herd immunity - thats why we no longer have polio or smallpox. if people continue to get infected and spreading the virus, the virus morphs into a stronger strain. the delta variant came from india, where only 5% of the population is vaccinated.

@@brillsmith2207 As a private citizen, we are. If you can prove in a court of law that someone who did not vaccinate themselves or their children has killed anyone, you'd be welcome to do so. But that's the dirty secret in all of this. You can make memes all day but the children who were were received little to no vaccines are health, thriving and better off in a lot of ways. Myself included.
In Canada there was a conservative Member of Parliament (federal) who started an anti-vaccination petition. For this and other reasons, he has now been expelled from the party.
Expulsion is a good start at least.

Your alive now, but just wait until you are challenged with the actual virus. mRNA vaccines have a tendency to cause antibody-dependent enhancement. Instead of enchanting immunity to the virus the vaccine will do the opposite and enhance the virus to enter and infect your cells, resulting in more severe disease then you had before you got the vaccine. These mRNA vaccines have been around for 20 years and couldn't get FDA approval because these vaccines did horrible in all the animal trials. The animals did great until they were challenged to the actual virus. Most of the animals got really sick or died. They died because their body had a cytokine storm which attacked their own lungs and their liver and had almost a sepsis response in the body. This is why both Moderna and Pfizer skipped animal trials on the mRNA vaccines because they already knew that the animals would get sicken and die and people aren't supposed to know that. The FDA also would not be able to approve these vaccines for emergency use because these vaccines would never be able to pass animal trials.
The human trials are a lot easier to pass because in these trials their is no challenge test at all. The reason why they do not do a challenge test for humans is because its considered very unethical to do so. The only thing that is required is to show is good antibodies and a good T cell response. As long as the vaccine shows a robust immune system and everything else looks good the vaccine passes the human trials. You better hope and prey you never get this virus because your survival rate just went down by a lot and if you survive chances are you will be really sick and suffer from severe disease and autoimmune disorders.
Just give this vaccines to those who really wanted it, including poor countries...

For me those vaccine were kinda like, dummy enemies for immune system.
It gives the immune system time to know and learn about the virus, and let them know how to kill or deactivate the virus effectively instead of bombarding it everywhere that also kills other parts of the body cells.
It’s also help the immune system to recognise the virus quickly, before its gets worse

The reason why there's an RNA vaccine is so the virus can be detected by the immune system through the direct insertion of that RNA strand into lymphocytes (immune cells). This then allows for the identification of the viral strands and allows the immune system to detect it and combat it. This may be preferable over a different type of vaccine in which a weakened version of the virus or a genetically edited version of the virus is inserted due to the ways in which these vaccines are developed, the general effectiveness-since some vaccines are less effective depending on their manufacting method, etc. Mind you, this technology has existed for quite a while know and has been used in many cases of the flu to allow for annual vaccinations of vulnerable people (i.e. asthmatics and the elderly).

I own a Drycleaning business next to a funeral home here in South FL and let me tell you business is good for us cleaning so many clothes for funerals and for the funeral home next door. It is sad to see at least two funerals a day five days a week because people here in FL are not taking it seriously.

except for the fact that getting an abortion doesn't affect anyone else but the mother and the child whereas not getting a vaccine affects literally every human you come into contact with because you could be an asymptomatic carrier and be giving it to everybody without knowing. an unvaccinated person is one more vector for the infection. Every single person who refuses to get vaccinated is making it harder and harder for us to reach herd immunity, which helps keep those who are unable to get vaccinated safe, like those who are immunocompromised or have other complications that keep them from getting vaccinated. Herd immunity is the only thing that protects them, the most vulnerable in our communities.

@@charissa6648 The same people (as yourself) asking, “if the vaccine works, why would you care if I don’t have it?” are the same people who have zero basic understanding of what a vaccine is in the first place. It’s just baffling to me that someone (not you solely) who has no true knowledge of a subject would actively choose to disregard a professional’s opinion whether they think the professional is right or not. A vaccination (they can differ in how they work, but trying to keep it simple here) is meant to encode a low-level version of said disease into a person’s T-Cells (again, not all vaccines work this way, but keeping it simple). The T-Cells in a persons body are responsible for recognizing and responding to foreign particles (diseases) within the immune system. When 1 person is vaccinated, but the other is not, then the non-vaccinated person has a higher chance of succumbing to the disease in a much more negative way (hospitalization/death). The non-vaccinated person can also PASS ALONG THE DISEASE to the vaccinated person and cause them to get sick. Now, you’re probably thinking, “why would the vaccinated person get sick if their vaccine is supposed to work?” Good question, that’s because the vaccine is meant to encode the T-Cells in a persons body so that the next time they do come into contact with the disease, it doesn’t cause them to become anywhere near as sick as the unvaccinated person would. Now if BOTH people are vaccinated, then the foreign particles (diseases) have a much lower chance to be spread and/or cause as severe of a sickness due to the fact that the body’s immune system now knows how to fight it off. WHEN the majority of the population becomes vaccinated, this stops the spread of a disease from one person to another due to a phenomenon called “Herd Immunity”. Due to some people GENUINELY not being able to be vaccinated weather it be a true medical condition, extremely young child, or a person with a genuine immune disorder, their safety DEPENDS on the rest of the community being immunized (Herd Immunity). This helps stop and phase out the disease from returning or being spread to someone who GENUINELY cannot be vaccinated because everyone is vaccinated therefore the disease is (not fully, can never be 100%) “eradicated”.
I do not mean to belittle you by my comment, truly. I only mean to teach you in the importance of vaccination.

@@Nozarks1 These vaccine ingredients are compounds that exists everywhere. There's cyanide in almonds, formaldehyde in apples, and thimerosal is in all air, water, soil, ect. All of these things are safe to consume below a certain threshold. Formaldehyde for example... it'll take 30 units to kill you. A vaccine contains 0.005 units according to a quick Google search... that's 1/6000th of the lethal dose. So if the lethal dose is a 3,000 lbs car, the vaccine dose weights as much as a pack of M&Ms.

Because you need herd immunity, aka 95% of the population to be vaccinated to be able to protect the few who are immunocompromised; ie people on chemo or with AIDS, and multiple other conditions/treatments that weakens ones immune system.

I question if we should be taking this particular vaccinations (I'm not against all vaccinations). When I say I question it, it means I'm open to the idea of taking it. My issue with the Covid vaccines is that they use mRNA, which has never been used before. Please correct me if I am wrong. As we do not know much about introducing synthetic instructions (RNA) into our bodies, it seems dangerous that we give the vaccine to so many people. Also, the idea that we need a vaccine to get out of the pandemic seems incorrect as many countries have quickly got out of it without the vaccine. Please feel to educate me if I am wrong in any way. The 0.03 would have meant an efficacy for the mask of 97% , PNAS concluded overall 0.30 risk of transmission in other words 70% less chance of transmission. Since shops are not health care institutions I thought in a shop the risk might be higher than in a hospital so therefore I accept the efficacy of masks in reducing the spread might be as little as 40% but 40% is nothing to be sneezed about when you consider how many lives that could have saved. And if you do sneeze about it, WEAR A MASK!
The kid I liked the most volunteering in my kid's class aside from my own was an autistic little guy. He is an awesome kid and taught me what an algorithm was in second grade. Life is not over if you have autism, I would be supremely offended if I had autism listening to these antivaxxers

Herd immunity is reached when 70 to 80% of population is vaccinated or have sufficient immunity based on prior infection. If that threshold isn't reached, the virus will continue to mutate possibly becoming more infectious. Are you in general against vaccinations or just this one? You know in most public schools in this country, your kids must be vaccinated against measles, polio, and rubella before being enrolled? In my job, I have to prove I've had boosters of these vaccines. 😐

I worked in the COVID section as a housekeeper. I worked without health insurance ( i still don't have it either ). There's people who tested even months before recovering from it. All I can say is I rather get covid than the vaccine. I trust my immune system and people should have rights.

I even told one nurse before covid started, i bet there's a vaccine already and will be out within a year. And sure enough i was right.
