Here in France it was also ' la fête de la musique ' the streets were overcrowded although I managed to find a cosy place for a cosy concert. I didn't know about the frog song. I don't know if there's a specific dish here for midsummer. Those postcards from your brother are really lovely. According to Wikipedia, James Cook islands were part of New Zealand but now are self-governing . The thing about the pole with the children dancing seemed a bit odd 😅 When I used to be a child we didn't have any tradition for midsummer it was just another day. It's always good to see you do whatever you do Ingrid, so if you you have the energy to finish your collage then go for it. I somehow understand, I do live alone and my friends are mostly thousand of kilometers away , you included :) Oh dandelion, it reminds me of Bufo, that's sweet. Thanks! Yes it is Matisse the cubist artist. He has a close space in my heart as he made big sculptures for my hometown. Oh i love fete de la musique! I miss that. Midsummer is a very swedish specific thing and is pretty weird in certain ways if you think about it.
