being a 60s baby, Kid Rock arrived kinda late on the scene for me - and to be honest I didn't realize the talent this guy had at that time. As other musicians have pushed me away Kid Rock has brought me in - with his no bs approach and in your face style with the talent to back it up. I think this is the thick vocal and instrument Motown "wall of sound" of the 2000's that Kid has been looking for as his career progressed. being a 60s baby, Kid Rock arrived kinda late on the scene for me - and to be honest I didn't realize the talent this guy had at that time. As other musicians have pushed me away Kid Rock has brought me in - with his no bs approach and in your face style with the talent to back it up. This song is a great example of the range this guy has- he is so much more than what people see at first glance
Me being a 80s baby Kid rock came up in my era, because of him I had my horizion in music expanded greatly. I would never tuned into greats like Hank, Merle, Waylon, Willie, Cash, David allan coe, Jerry Lee lewis, Springsteen and many more.
