His song Born Free even makes me want to be an American. But they had forgotten a little over 10 years prior we had vets kneeling to the flag to protest their brothers lost in Fallujah to a pointless war they were lied to about in order to be brainwashed into supporting. But back then the left n right were pretty much in agreement about the war in Iraq, and how we shouldn’t have gone there. So because of that, right wing media didn’t fear monger the kneeling. And nobody cared. Okay so I’m like 24 years old right now. I literally just started listening to this song like a year and a half ago but I heard it right when it came out because my ex showed me it. But never decided to fully listen to it til a year ago pretty much. And damn, I can say that it hurts though cause she broke up with me two years ago do to my own selfish reasons which I have finally learned from within the last year. But this song always brings me back to the great times I had with her actually. It’s a bittersweet feeling to reminisce about the old times with her. But man this song is so amazing and very nostalgic. It also gives me hope still.

As a teen in the early and mid 70's growing up in a fairly small town...Boise Idaho. This song hits right on. We had the best cars. Mostly mid 50's through mid 60's because that's we could afford. You could buy a decent car for $200.00.

Close to 50? I've put 50 in my rearview 4 years ago. This song still hits hard. Thinking about good times cruising the boulevard and having fight clubs and crazy s$#t in my backyard. We were young, wild and free. I wish I knew them they were the best days of my life. Okay so I’m like 24 years old right now. I literally just started listening to this song like a year and a half ago but I heard it right when it came out because my ex showed me it. But never decided to fully listen to it til a year ago pretty much. And damn, I can say that it hurts though cause she broke up with me two years ago do to my own selfish reasons which I have finally learned from within the last year. But this song always brings me back to the great times I had with her actually. It’s a bittersweet feeling to reminisce about the old times with her. But man this song is so amazing and very nostalgic. It also gives me hope still.

Close to 50? I've put 50 in my rearview 4 years ago. This song still hits hard. Thinking about good times cruising the boulevard and having fight clubs and crazy s$#t in my backyard. That Snow White Drive-In was a regular stop for me and many of my friends have worked there. He and I live in AZ and he's never been to TN. I guess a trip is in order.
