As a veteran firefighter and EMT, I love to see the respect that FFDP has for those that keep this country safe from fire and enemies both foreign and domestic. Too all my brothers and sisters backing the blue, red, green and all branches of military, stay safe!
I have to say. I have so much respect for those who are WILLING to run headfirst into a fire (wearing protective gear of course) It just seems that firefighters have the biggest balls compared to the police department (though they do a lot of dangerous things too).. wherever you are, remember this... if you are really a vet firefighter.. you had to have had some big balls to do the stuff I hear firefighters do.
@@FictionCautious if they could the situation would become way worse because as soon as the military starts acting domestically it becomes a military police state
I’m nearly 36 years old and a fully disabled combat veteran, I never ever thought in my life, when I took my oath that “I will support and defend the Constitution of The United States against ALL enemies, foreign AND DOMESTIC;” I NEVER would’ve imagined back in ‘05 when I took it that the latter part would happen!! I never thought we’d have to worry about the left becoming almost completely COMMUNIST, and having a DICTATOR IN CHIEF Fuhrer biden and his shot caller Fuhrer fauci INSTALLED in the White House after let’s call it “creative vote counting” during the 2020 election!! It’s something I never would’ve thought I’d see, the greatest country in the world being DESTROYED FROM THE INSIDE OUT by the left who is no longer “democrats” but are instead OPENLY ANTI AMERICAN COMMUNISTS!!! Idk how we literally went from THE GREATEST PRESIDENT OF MY LIFETIME IN PRESIDENT TRUMP TO BEING OVERRUN BY THE COMMUNIST LEFT WITH MEMBERS LIKE AOC aka COMRADE CORTEZ BROTHER F***ER ILLHAN OHMAR, SH***AG SCHUMER, POLYDENT PELOSI and the other so called “SQUAD” MEMBERS!! I just hope we can fix it in ‘22 before it’s too late!!!

For all first responders amidst the current chaos they are facing and for all individuals seeking out and pursuing any career as a first responder. You are the ones winning the fight, and always will. Forge ahead with heads high. "The world will not be destroyed by those who do evil, but by those who watch and do nothing"

To all my fellow officers and first responders: keep the faith. There’s so many people out there that need us. Remember why we do what we do. And thank you FFDS for bringing home the emotion that we all feel.
There's a rule 59 is too old to rock? I'm 55 they tell me "Why do you still listen to that old shit? Grow up!" So I got 4 yrs before I just need to turn it down! 😄 Thanks bro. ✌️🎸
55 here and I would do Sully Erna of Godsmack in a heartbeat. Ivan Moody is great too but with a retired Marine as my husband for 31 years, I appreciate them more for supporting our military more. And I go to Louder than Life every year. Never too old to rock out.
I saw Kenny play this in concert when it first came out. Gave me chills then, Ivan’s voice adds a depth to it I love. I salute all those that serve. I know many military and first responders. You are under appreciated. Keep the faith
Once again, showing why I love this band. Kenny Wayne Shepherd Brantley Gilbert Brian May And the Gary Sinise Foundation. Thank you, FFDP, for supporting our troops and first responders!
@@arrowheadftball Hang on now, I'm only 53 but the pups know to leave the room when I play this song. As the old TH-cam adage goes, when I listen to FFDP, so do my neighbors. Sorry, had the opportunity and jumped on it.
Cracks me up all the people that didn’t know about KWS or Blue on Black when it came out years and years ago. Y’all late…:We was rocking this 20 years ago folks!!! Played that SH-T while training while crossing the pond on the HST aircraft carrier when I was in the Navy. HOOYAH!!
I sit and ponder so many times. If we could know how many times our songs were played on the radio when it was King, the numbers would dwarf any song on TH-cam. We still know.
I'm not trying to take anything away from the message of the song. Nor am I trying to take away from the other artists in this song... but damn seeing May walk up and then do that solo put a smile to my face... What a legend.

Dray Fire Fighters go through a lot. Many come very close to death, a lot of them see friends die, they can’t always save everyone which can cause a guilty conscious, they see whole city blocks destroyed at times, they see peoples lives ruined because of the destruction of a fire, etc. If his Dad has even expierenced a single one of those things it’s completely understandable. Also just because a man cries doesn’t mean he’s a pussy. Real men don’t care if they or others cry because they aren’t ashamed of who they are and don’t care what others think. If a vet cried watching their wrong side of heaven video would you call him or her a pussy?

@@GudMusicByJay thank you. There were definitely some times I didn’t think I was coming home, but I would do it all over again if I could.
The enemies are within. Soldiers can't fight those at the moment.

Amen to that and like someone said so underrated by the GP. The GP should actually listen to the type of tones he gets out of that RS guitar,it's unreal! 😁
Man he fucking rocks on guitar. Wish I could shred like that
How many people still get chills listening to this song, no matter how many times you've heard it?
I definitely do!
Bringing in Brantley's voice made it epic!
Same!
Yeah same here bro
Everytime!!!
Absolutely the BEST rendition of this song ever recorded! Vocal blends don't get any better than this! Lyrics rock - all thanks & praise to our First Responders, Fire Fighters, EMTs, Paramedics, Police Officers, and all who risk their lives to save us, strangers in the night! Perfect song for an outstanding video! I'm listening to this for the 5th time - may continue far into the night!!! God Bless!
God bless our military and first responders.

Ive lost a best friend and a family member in the last two weeks. This band is the only reason ive not drowned myself in a bottle. Its been rough. Im getting through it all. Thank you. To the the band and any individual who knows the the pain. Its been so rough. And this is my way of reaching out. I dont wish this pain on any one. Only reason im here is because of my 8 yr old daughter. I have no option to be weak and comment on here. And i know people deal with worse than me. I dont know what to do. So here i vent. Im so sorry Brandon my daughter couldnt wait to meet you and your kid. Im so sorry.
Trust me...I'm 16 and I know how u feel...shout out to you for staying strong for your daughter💯
You're stronger than most, and your daughter is lucky to have you. May the winds of fortune be ever pushing you forward.
Keep fighting the good fight for yourself and your little one.
I admire you hanging in there for your daughter. I will keep you in my prayers that Our Lord Jesus will provide you comfort and strength. Take care of yourself. ❤

Hello, how are you doing? Nice to meet you here..
Brian still is so amazing and will always be! He's such a great person who always supports good causes! I love him as a musician, but I also love him as a person and that's something I can't say about many people. He's unique ❤
Micaela Blezio Sierra AMEN to that!! 😇👼
I have probably listened to this song 10 times in a row when I first found it. I enjoy it so much as a musician and a minister. Well probably mostly as a musician but love reading and hearing all Five Finger Death Punch does for vets and first responders. I am the son of a retired Msgt and my son a former Marine. Keep rocking it out
Always And Forever with much love and Respect
God bless
Once a Marine, always a Marine! Semper Fi
Ha..I listened to it for 2 1/2 hrs and probably would have for who knows how long, but my roommate came in turned it and said that's enuf for now!! Lol one of my fav all time songs!!
30 times and counting.
As a Firefighter Medic thank you. For those who take us First Responders for granted just remember WE run in and attack what you run away from in fear.

Actually as a Fire fighter Medic I would probably be saving you and your loved-ones lives.
Thank you for doing so. Takes a special person to do your job.
For those who extend a rare Thank You and appreciate what we do, you are all very much welcome.
Unfortunately the increased violence against UNARMED Firefighters and Medics over the last 20+ years is making most of us wonder if its worth the risk. When that happens it will affect ALL LIVES and property.
Thank you to the legends whom served america 🇺🇸. And those serving...our grateful salute goes out to you with God's blessings for a safe return to family.❤
