You have to use the same content for Instagram scrolling. I noticed that the 15 PM was watching bright colored content while the 14 PM was watching mostly black content.

Nice one mate. I’ve got the 14 Pro Max, had it for almost a year and my battery yields almost the same results and I’m a power user. It’s why I haven’t found a reason to upgrade.

Yes it's true for iPhone 14 Pro Max, Considering it has AOD and Brighter display, plus new IOS 17 I think seems to work better on iPhone 14 Pro Max.

I have a 15 pro max and my battery is terrible! I take pictures, browse internet and socials here and there but no where close to the test you did and my phone drains very quickly. Even in low power mode it still drains. In the time I watched this video my battery, in low power mode went from 42% to 35%.
oh it's too much for brand new 15PM.I would advised take this to your nearest apple store and ask them to check, what's the problem could. Also did you update ur device to the latest iOS 17.0.3 or not

that's a cap =)) you have a defect product or you just capping =)) Bring to Apple and get a new one man. I run Doordash, Uber, GH, mile tracking apps, tiktok, youtube, Bluetooth 6 hours straight and my battery from 100 to like 31 =)) This is with the location always on in the background.

I would yes if you want good camera or USB-C then it is a good device. Rest if you need the device to have batter build quality then No, I would not suggest this device, even if battery is your main priority then right now it is decent not good or bad.
Overall it depends on your usage.

Basically they're all the same phone in my opinion. Got my 15 pro max on launch day and coming from the 14 pro I was thinking the battery life would be quite a bit better being its newer and its the pro max instead of just the pro. Yeah, I was wrong. I didn't experience any overheating issues like many have but as far as the battery life in day to day usage I can't tell much of a difference, if any at all. It is a very nice phone don't get me wrong but if you already have a 12,13 or 14 pro max just keep it and wait for the 16. 👍
I agree for better battery I would suggest 13 pro max is best phone. For all of those you are thinking to purchase 12 PM or 11 PM I would suggest you should consider buying iPhone 14 Plus or 15 Plus as thses devices are better value for money.
It has to do with brightness,15 and 14 do 1600 while 13 does 800 that's why it was close to 15 with less bh.

hello, it's normal for the battery to drop in 2 hours, 20% on an iphone 15 plus, just taken out of the box, the phone went on continuously, moving files, setting, downloading apps, pictures...? on a new phone it downloads a little faster the battery until it is optimized

Had the 14 Pro Max and now switched to 15 Pro Max, and could say with no doubt that 15 Pro Max has way better battery than 14 Pro Max. I guess I was lucky about the device they sent me haha

Hello, I watched your video and I liked it. but for me the problem is that for the battery test you use WiFi and not mobile data but we know very well that there is a difference between consumption when it is our mobile data and WiFi. if the phone lasted 8 hours in mobile data it will probably last 1 hour less... so please do your tests with the use of mobile data to see in reality the true autonomy of the battery because what we generally use are no mobile data since we are practically always outside with our phones. I would say check your background process or maybe you should lower your brightness or Always on display

I have been watching multiple battery test video's on TH-cam. Results are different. Sometimes the 14 PM dies first.

There are specifications out there that show 15P A17 chip has the ability to pull more power. Both cpu and gpu. Not shocking the game was harder on the battery than it was on the other two, while nearly everything else didn’t hit the 15 battery as hard as it did the others.
Expect improvements with iOS updates. Also, appreciate the test for certain but bit strange to run a 13PM with below 100% battery health.
Last thing I will say is that I would love for someone to do a similar comparison with brightness maxed out, and speakers maxed out. Both with and without wifi.

@@Ohkeh640that’s not how it works , the 13 pro max has much less brightness screen compare to the 14 and 15 pro max , the 13 pro max has a 1000 nits brightness while the 14 and 15 pro max has 2000 nits , therefore double the brightness level
@@Omar-kl3xpthey only have 2000 nits in the sunlight and with automatic brightness enabled. In normal circumstances all three phones have 1000 nits typical brightness. Don’t believe me? Google it.

You didn't calibrate the brightness. Setting the same level isn't the same thing.
It's also impossible to have 100% after an hour of video.

every seneario is different since these are controlled environment test, so that's why it's different for everyone. I would suggest you should take these test as starting point to know what you would expect from these devices.

If you’re “upset” that’s on you, flagship phones have reached a plateau and refine the last years device. If you don’t think the Dynamic Island, AOD, double the brightness, 48MP pixel binning camera, better video on the 14 Pro alone, then double the storage, light titanium frame, action button, 5x zoom, USB 3 Type C on the 15PM are worth the outlay above selling your existing device then keep your older device. What more do you want your phone to do, jrk you off in bed as well?

Actually guys the application tests are normal thing and we use daily evey time but need to do phone call test, mobile network test 4g to 5g playing videos so battery drains faster Lasts around 5-6 hrs I guess.... please do this test and make one video

to be honest I have seen battery drain while playing graphic intensive games like Call of Duty, Pubg Mobile and Asphalt 9. While small games don't have a major effect on battery. I do notice while playing these graphic intensive game in low setting it generally drain slightly less battery.
I love my iPhone 15 Pro Max. It’s more faster than the iPhone 13 Pro Max and the iPhone 14 Pro Max.

I'm not sure it's fair to use games in a battery life comparison unless the frame rate is capped at the lowest common perf level.
it just a general test to give you idea what to expect for long gaming, social media use impact on your battery.it also be different for different user. Really depends on every person usage, some use it for whole day while some may nearly drain in two days with less usage.
@@TANSAFTECH I get it, and it's fine. Using games just maybe an explanation as to why the newest model use more battery: if they perform better, it's normal to drain the battery faster. Gaming on mobile can be rather opaque as to what's going on internally. Maybe the games you use are actually doing the exact same stuff, and running at the exact same capped performance, in which case it can be stated that the new phones may have an efficiency issue indeed.
But if they run faster, or worse, use a different rendering path, there's nothing weird we can state here.
