Ten games into the season (and only one defeat) Vincent Kompany has revolutionized the way Burnley play football. From a small town, supporters are queuing up for tickets to watch this new style of play week in, week out both for home and away matches. Your doom and gloom prediction on our coach was very wrong. Our only problem is how do we keep hold of him as big clubs must have taken note how brilliant VK's coaching style is. UTC!!!

Think its a risk by both manager and club in this instance. The championship is an unforgiving league and if you dont hit the ground running and get to grips with it fast, you could find yourself doing a sunderland and tumbling right down to league 1. A lot will depend on how the owners of burnely sort this debt out that needs to be paid, if they do that without fire sale of players then they may have a chance with some signings added on. However if they have to sell to pay for the debt before they can equip the squad for next season, then it wont matter if its Kompany or Klopp in charge, Burnely will be in massive trouble. Fair play to Kompany for sticking his neck out for a job like this but if he could somehow make a success of this, then it would be a great start to life in management in England

As a Burnley fan I’m really excited about the opportunity to take a risk with someone who can bring a different style of play, rather than going with someone who is going to play the same style as Dyche. I love Dyche and think he’s an absolute legend but the past few seasons have shown that the style of football that we were playing just wasn’t going to be good enough, really excited about the future for us and I think whilst relegation will mean we lose some of our best players, by bringing in a new manager and basically half a new squad, there is a opportunity for a really good rebuild.

If Simon was still a chairman wouldn’t have given Roy Keane a sniff, yet in his first season as a manager he won the championship. He wouldn’t have given Naglesman a chance, because he had no senior experience as a player. He wouldn’t have given the lad at Salzburg’s chance either, the list goes on and on. Simon isn’t a chairman for a good reason and it’s partially to do with his archaic views on football

I think it's an interesting move for both of us. He will be able to attract players to ourselves but he will also be changing our style and that'll take time.

Just a shame we came short, I think the owners want to change people's perception of the typical Burnley. They want to make us more modern as desirable. @@jimiawaydazeawaydaze 😂😂😂😂😂 no ones saying you do. There are plenty of teams who stay up doing it the smart way. U lot have done nothing for many yrs. U dont deserve a place in the prem. Its not a league u can stay in unless u spend something. Billionaire why does it always have to be that. And you are talking absolute bubbles anyway if u had a take over u wouldnt say nothing. U would still support them. Lol. Well put it this way u dont spend now then there is only one way your going. Remember Sunderland.

Simon Jordan really does get on my nerves sometimes, what he fails to realise is when Dyche who had no real experience got Burnley up twice and on no massive budget, so that shatters his beliefs on what you need to get promoted out the championship……🙈

Considering how long Jim White has worked in sports broadcasting, he should really know how to pronounce Club Brugge properly by now. How has he been doing this job and previously working at Sky Sports for so long without picking this kind of stuff up. Brain dead. There's a reason it's spelled 'Club Brugge' and not 'Club Bruges'! Just embarrassing given his 'professsion'.

A match made in heaven. A thick head to go with the thick board. May they rot in the championship. Most boring team that I've ever seen.
