The Scarborough Shoal or "Renai Reef" is 500nmiles away from China's shoreline and is 200nmiles away from Philippines' shoreline. The whole world agrees that China is UNCLOS uncompliant and has their eyes on China right now. Again, why ratify UNCLOS if you're not going to comply?
