Circle of Fashion. Documentary

Anne Klein, the famous fashion designer, once said: “Clothes are not going to change the world, the women who wear them will”. And that is absolutely right, but not just the women who wear them, but also the women who make them.
That is what the Circle of Fashion documentary is all about. It tells the stories of 4 women who chose to make fashion more fashionable. And not by making clothes with fancy fabrics, ornaments and silhouettes but by making them more sustainable. They chose this path to show that there is much more to fashion than making small collections and saying that it is responsible while at the same time over-producing the fashion industry with non-ecological fabrics.
Many people say that fast fashion is cheap or free and that it is the only clothing most people can afford. But in reality, that is not the case. Fast fashion is not free because someone is paying for it. And our planet pays the most significant price. Therefore the primary purpose of this movie is to show people how we can contribute to stopping the fashion industry from destroying the environment.
These four intelligent women in the movie share their insights, opinions, and stories on the fast fashion industry, sustainability, and where their creativity comes from. Therefore, these women can become an inspiration for you to choose another path away from all the over-consuming and over-producing fashion. Just buy less. Wear clothes that tell a real story. And live better. Because sustainable fashion is not a trend, it’s the future.
This short documentary film is a part of the Erasmus+ "Circle of Fashion project".
