There's a lyric from John cougar song. Old saying but I live by it. The saying goes " an honest mans pillow is his peace of mind". You sir have a soft pillow. 🍻
In one of those bays. On a random day during summer, I caught 6 LMB between 2-3lber in one of those lay down trees. Used to love that lake when I had my Tiny boat.
This video is definitely helpful. I’m a kayak fisherman my pb is 12lb off a jig. Thanks to your instructions. Keep the videos coming. You are very appreciated
Greg Hackney does a jig hookset tutorial that changed the game for me. He reels down and let's the fish load up and then pressure sets to the side and up and when I started doing this, long range jig hooksets became doable and also sitting down etc. Give it a try! I fish a lot from the bank with overhanging trees and can't snap set all the time so it's been very helpful for me.
I couldn't find the video to leave the comment for the free fishing reel but my favorite memories with my dad man on the birthday cut the biggest bass he ever had I've ever seen got me into fish and got me watching your videos and I swear when he caught it all he is crying and didn't want nobody to know but it was one of the happiest memories I've ever had fish and haven't seen him in two years we went fishing on my birthday he caught the biggest bass I've ever seen a big-ass pasties ever call the great memory love to have the real
I love these uncut videos especially the kayak vids. However, I would like them much more if you had more over the shoulder footage. I don't care for the view from the front camera, I want to see where you are casting and how you are retrieving. Just a thought. Tight lines and keep up the great work!
Get a moderate action tip. I use a dobyns champion heavy/mf glass rod or the mh/mf glass. Kayak you need a moderate tip. Also if you use braid have a mono letter.
This isn't actually a fishing question, but I'm just wondering, with the GoPro, does it come with lighting so that you can make your face show up In the screen better? I'm seeing a lot of videos from people where the videos look like really good productions overall, but something simple as lighting and showing the viewers your face, and the surroundings, sometimes seems very poor. This wasn't the case with this video the whole time, but I noticed it and just wanted to ask.
Idk what kind of snake it is atleas not in technical terms but I can guarantee you it wasn't poisonous as far as I can tell the snake was a type of ribbon snake or at least related to them me and my brother used to play with them all the time
I don't like catching, pickerel, and pike, when I'm bass fishing, mostly because they're slimey, and teeth. That said I don't mind it when I hit a tiger musky, because they're rare, and just cool!
I fish almost exclusively out of a kayak. I don't get the thought process behind thinking that you would want a shorter rod, in general, in a kayak. You need to be able to take up line way more so in a kayak than a boat. The kayak is going to move as you load up on the fish and with a short rod you're just going to run out of ability to take up line with the road and you're more likely to have the rod unload with the fish on the line. Tips to up your hookup and landing percentage: 1) Fish off the side of the kayak rather than the bow. Fishing to the side, you're able to apply more pressure to the fish because the kayak has to move sideways through the water and provides much more resistance. Off the bow, you're just sliding the kayak across the water. 2) Lighter wire hooks are your friend. They take less force to penetrate the fish. It's more difficult to generate a lot of force in the kayak; balance, sitting, kayak moving, etc., so the less required to penetrate the fish the better. 3) Get rid of as much line stretch as possible if you're using a thicker hook. Braid is is how this works. Moving baits I'm usually on fluorocarbon or copoly, but pretty much everything else is braid to leader and I generally use leader material rather than just fluoro mainline for the leader because it stretches less. 4)
This video gets SO GOOD near the end, with so much learning along the way, so stay tuned for the whole thing!!

No one commented the snake so I looked it up. Eastern garter snake. Nonvenomous and common.

So strange to see you in a kayak. 👍💖
What’s do you think the best lews rod series for a tournament angler ? Note keep it budgeted because I fish the bass juniors?
KVD’s series
Love the kayak videos! #jig #life

I fish this lake a lot and it is very tricky to fish this lake with all those structure and lay down.
That’s where the fish are though!
Amen! 1:15:35

The Fourth of July. It’s my birthday. And share it with the Country
Definitely Christmas! Jesus birthday, Christmas baking recipes, nativity, Christmas Eve service.
I'm just watching this video & that snake looks to me like a Gardner snake, they do bite, but they have very small teeth & not venomous or poisonous
Nice fish 👍🏻
