Awesome video! I’ve learned something new, I need to vary up my technique some after watching this. I get hung up on throwing a couple of the top 5 baits from BassForecast that I’m missing out; especially on reaction baits that I think I could have had a better trip that being stuck in one mindset.
I'm hoping Tyler or some of you commenters can help. I've got access to a 2 acre pond in OK. Yesterday was my first time there. I caught 3 largemouth and 12 spotted. Yeah...12 spotted. The pond is just 3 years old. Almost every spotted was a female ready to burst. They're all 3/4-1 1/2lbs. Should I be harvesting them? They had to be stocked, I'd assume. Are they detrimental to the largemouth population? I'd sure think so. Still, fun as hell to catch, I just want to do what's best for the pond in the long run. Thanks.

Hey Tyler I have been thinking about getting a new tackle bag this summer. Thinking about the Plano atlas. I was going to use the Plano flex boxes but wasn’t sure what size boxes to get and also I was wondering if you knew how many soft plastic bags the atlas could fit. Tyler get some proline frog, creyfish herring shad, and nightcrawler. Then you can get a procure trophy bass blood worm and eel. The procure is great to use on lures and hard plastics. Generally, the proline is awesome on soft plastics. These are water-based attractant, and the fish smell the water-based attractant best. Also, procure and proline are quality attractant they use actual parts of these baits to make the attractant. I know it's gross, yes, but bass and all fish love it. I put trophy bass on a pencil popper and drew in a school of striper kinda stunk they didn't bite, though. Sadly, wind picked up and killed the action of pencil popper
I am going to buy a rod for bass, do not have enough money to buy multiple, what is the best type of rod to have not the model but the action of the rod it is hard to explain. I am kinda new to bass fishing. Your videos have helped me catch a lot of bass, keep up the great work!

Because it’s a frog😂 It’s hollow belly and has two hooks facing up. Just like a live target bluegill is a frog style lure, and whatever kinda hollow rat or whatever you’re throwing is also a frog. Kleenex name to me
Hey Tyler love your videos, I have a recommendation for you, I heard you would like to Fish in Ohio I live in Walbridge in Northwest Ohio. It is a great spot to wade fish for Walleye during the spring and when the walleye are done the White Bass move in to spawn. Toledo/Maumee, Ohio have great access to Lake Erie and the Maumee river which is the main river in Northern Ohio and Indiana. Just a suggestion but I think you would have a great time in this area. Thanks for your videos and inspiration.
He did a series called Monsters of Minnesota a few summers back. Seriously one of my favorite series he's ever done. He interviewed some interesting people up there, too.
Try a black and blue or June bug railer with a white rage creyfish with some proline or procure on there. Trust me, this attractant, once you locate fish, you'll get crushed
Consider yourself lucky to be able to fish for a living. Clearly have the knowledge and skill for that. Maybe in a couple more years, I could do likewise before I got too old. 😂 I've had zero luck on a popping frog 🐸 that I use has kicking legs, and I use frog scented attractant
My dream fishing place would have to be lake of the woods where you went I'd love to catch my first smallmouth there plus the muskie fishing would be cool

I would love to fish for small mouth up in the 1000 islands area. I went there as a kid to fish and had no clue I was fishing in such amazing place.

great video, would it be fine to downsize to 40 pound braid for frogging or is 50 nessesary?
It depends how much grass and structure you have around. If you have less things to tie up your line, you can drop down to 40 with no issues.

Ok my friend how did you cast like 50 yards with that heavy braid I use 25 lb on my lees speed spool love frogging caught my biggest so far 4-10
Just gotta get your spool settings right, and use the bend of the rod to fully load it and fling it out there!
