For Honour! WOW! I have been waiting my whole life for a dualing feature like this game features. A parrying mechanic that doesn't automatically give you an opening that stops the flow of combat. One where you have control of not only your attacks but your defense as well, rather than just a single "BLOCK" option.

Colin they touched on WWII in Assassins Creed Unity. You play in that era through a glitch in the system and is gives you a taste of the game in an age with guns.
I am a Sony fanboy.. I know what I am... And I think Microsoft won this year. But Sonys wasn't bad at all.. I just didn't care for the games that much.
Greg the writers of Assassin's Creed were building to something great with Desmond's story line (that myself and many loved) but then the suits at Ubisoft seemingly intervened and gave AC3 a shitty ending which would allow the series to continue annually.
I enjoyed both EA and Ubisoft equally as well as Bethesda. I am grateful for all of the creative games and new IP, being developed from all of these studios, including the indie companies.
I agree with Colin... I play 99% single-player games and so I personally won't be buying any of these games that are multiplayer-only or heavily multiplayer-focused with very little single-player. I used to be so down with this trend, but as I've gotten older, I don't have time for those kinds of games anymore.

The point is to be tactical and calculated. It wouldn't make sense at all. Assassins versus Templars is a great idea with plenty of story to keep going with even though that doesn't mean Ubisoft should.
Colin said DC should do one final Batman story and then move on and make new super heros because Batman was getting old, I'm pretty sure that's what that comment was referring to.

TheMemzie99 every other year, and push ac to every other year, if they were smart they would get a new PoP series that is focused on the platforming and puzzle solving of Sands of Time, and get that in the rotation, so each can have a game every three years instead. But pipe dreams.

These games are so lucrative that Ubi don't even need to get off their asses to make a decent game and they'll still make billions off of it
TheMemzie99 ac2 came out when i was in grad school so i was too busy to play it till revelations was out or coming out, played 2 and brotherhood, liked them both, started revelations....and considering i love history about byzantine and ottoman empire periods...i just found myself bored...even though the game has nothing wrong with it. Heard AC4 was good, but wanted to hold out till i had a ps4....which i have...so maybe ill check it out. AC needs a break, i think there is still enough love for the franchise (honestly only AC3 and Unity seem to be reviled)..it just needs a breather to get back in focus.

I'm not a big fan of multiplayer games outside of co-op modes but I will say that For Honor looks pretty cool. If it shapes up to be a good game I think I will play it even if it is multiplayer focused. That combat just looked too fun.
Googusvaflogishnogin It did look great but alas fromsoft knows how to pvp way more strategically and a lot more fast paced. But, and this is a big but, it could wind up with better pvp.
The beta is coming to xbox first in December than later on ps4 and pc they just didn't state that in the Microsoft conference because it takes the focus off them but they said it in the ubisoft one

I think they lost focus after Assassin's Creed 3. With Desmond and the Templar Assassin stuff kinda loosing it's way, it just doesn't seem like it's genuine any more. Pirates Creed, then Unity having a guy that didn't really seem to care about the brotherhood, now we got this gangster guy. Assassin's aren't even really good guys anymore it seems.
I always want to like Alfredo, and he seems like a very cool guy, but for someone who bases their life around video games he seems to have few opinions and little weight in any of them.
Why is everything going multiplayer? Really? Okay you journalistic icons, I'll clue you in. Money. That's it. Just money. When you make a game that is multiplayer only you are going for the whole herd rather than one gazelle. What I mean is lets say you have 8 close gaming buddies. 3 of you are super hyped for the new COD. Those 3 pressure and push and basically advertise for free to the other 5. They say "we are doing this together. Our 8 man team will be the best." Now the publisher just sold 8 copies instead of 3. Was COD's success brought on by the quality of the game or was it the hype of the multiplayer? Did ppl buy COD because it was a very solid game or did they buy it because everyone else was?
