Shrine of Adyr PvP Covenant Explained! + PvP Impressions and Future Thoughts! | Lords of The Fallen

Today i'll be going over my thoughts on my first few hours doing PvP in the new Lords of The Fallen game on top of covering the shrine of Adyr, an area thats somewhat like a covenant that allows you to rank up and purchase rewards with currency used from beating players in PvP!

The PVP in this game, when you actually have good connection is by far the most intense, epic and amazing Kombat I’ve ever had in a souls game. There is so much potential for this game for PVP and it is such a shame and disappointment that the latency issues are this bad, because if they weren’t, it would have taken over my life.

You can unlocked tiers without the tiers from community. Just buy everything and it'll unlock the next tier.

When I got a good connection match the PvP was amazing, I throw someone of the edge of a cliff with the lantern

Wo Long pvp is just better in every way.

I gotta wait and see when everything is fixed and what higher level PvP is like before I make my opinion, wo long is definitely faster and flashier but I so far definitely prefer the weapons in this game because they're more fantasy like so I love using a giant holy lasy sword hahaha

I parried someone two times cause they keep spamming light attack and not mixing it up to throw me off.

Only ran into pvp a few times and they cant even get close bc I just use that radiant spell to 1 shot snipe them. If get close use the exploding javelin or the bubble burst and one shot them if close. It's so easy to win

The lag when you invade is so bad that it's unplayable. And isn't that what you're supposed to do? Parry attacks? If you're just spamming the light attack you deserve to get some parry spam. What takes more skill? Pushing the rb button like a maniac? Or timing the attack from this button mashing?

Not a fan of someone joining your game and just hidding within mini boss mobs so the mobs kill u....

So is it level based matchmaking, weapon level based or a combination of both? Also whats the meta level for invasions?

I’m wondering that too because they do a lot of damage but then I hit them and it does Damm near nothing

@@aragami4283 i have same problem few invaders i can kill really easy and then out of nowhere i start getting invaders that i only do like 28 dmg to, and i really don't understand it.

What are the best areas to find pvp?

Just invade in the skyrest hub, the game doesn't lock you to areas so you'll just invade everywhere when you try!

I think the roll is too good tbh, you get so many i-frames in this game its very generous and makes it kinda easy to dodge

@@Kranix yea thats how i feel about the roll too. My problem with pvp is that locking onto other players will suck you into their attacks and not let you dash out of it. I started having to unlock from the players to roll out, but even then, most of the time it takes 2 rolls minimum to cover a safe distance because of rubberbanding. I hope they fix that soon because pvp is my fav thing in souls games

Pretty sure it doesn’t matter. It just scales your power up/down to the host.

It’s gotta be big, I’ve only been invaded once so far, he glitched out and I wailed on him. He had way too much health to be near my level.

​@kristoferprovencal3608 that what I was afraid of that because I had an experience were I got invade just me and invader I had no co op. The invader was use the tactic of hid behind the enemy then come a kill , I hit him once did 62 damage. I defeated the main boss the area.

I can’t believe that enemies will only agro the players whose world your in. So stupid as there’s absolutely no pressure on the person invading.
