If you want it nerfed, use it more! Possible ways to fix it without affecting pve or coolness factor: Shorter time lasting hitbox. Only charged up or fast version. Less poise damage.

As a big pvp player I will say most of the dlc stuff isn't that bad but I will say swift slash is beyond broken and the twin are here is really only strong when buffed with the armor and talistmans. It could use a small damage nerf but it's easy to avoid so get gud I suppose

lol aint no way this is good in PVP. Its literally the easiest ability to dodge in the game. And easy to get knocked out of it

Ive found i like using it with carian sorcery sword + main gauche. Since i can constantly swap what im doing in the moment and have parry as a defensive option

I use moonveil because I like how it can combo and punishes the ones who rush, but that onze is lookin fun too. Blindspot is beautiful too against the ones who abuse it or shield turtles, otherwise I don’t use it

Having enough faith to run the putrescent spell & not using rancor is very unusual to me, but nice showcase! Fun little fact with Adula's, you can sometimes true combo a wave-hit into a shard depending on the range it hits. Edit: a few other things! Miriam's might not have i-frames until you first become fully invisible, but the spell will still go off even if you're interrupted, giving you i-frames while in hitstun. Also, the recovery of the spell actually has i-frames while your character is visible & coming out of the teleport, to the point where you can even roll out of Miriam's & have overlapping i-frames. Combine this with hyper armor spells out of Miriam's (gavel, shatter earth), and most people will think twice before swinging immediately on the teleport.

Definitely not broken because intelligence builds require planning and brain cells doing more than rubbing together. Especially at lower than 200 levels which most people pvp at. Mages have to sacrifice vs str/dex do not. Heavy armor and high vig/str etc make r1 and ash spam easy. Mages have to actually play with our mouth closed and concentrating haha

Gavel, ghostflame, gelmir's fury, and ice storm are also fun tools to use with this. INT/FTH users can also use the new hybrid staff to sneak in some grabs with madness lol

glintstone scraps and rancor pots are able to track a miriam teleporting player mid teleport, lock on and use when you think they're about to teleport and watch where the projectiles go

I like that you throw a spritestone at the start of duels. Seems like the mere presence of it puts people on the defensive.

It's not broken, just annoying because it disables target lock and it forces me to reactivate it but it's manageable

I love the teleport spell ...but I always use different spells after the teleport.... I prefer to use the new gravity ball, impenetrable thorn, dragon breath, hammer, miquella light

Spellproof Greatshield talisman by itself pretty much negates most mage builds. The magic defence can be buffed so high after the DLC.

Short answer: no. You get everything you need in a normal playthrough and can rebirth or NG+ to try out other builds. All the gear is also available to you in quests or in the world.
