God’s justice prevails and he heals the hearts of the innocent. Pray for those children, and continue praying for yourself to be a strong warrior to advocate for them. God bless you for bringing up their pain and speaking on their behalf. Never stop holding the feet of the wicked to the fire, but please never lose faith in God’s justice and love.

Yes he, like Jesus on occasion flips over tables and takes the whip to the heresy in the church. At times (especially our times) a good stiff arm is what is needed.

My story begins like this, I see the Lord's hand from the time of my conception in my life, My Mom wanted to abort me, I was saved due to the efforts of a Doctor who is a Catholic Nun, All my chilhood memories are flooded with how I searched for God, I was very much involved in all religious activities but I still did not have the real peace in his heart. I often wondered, “After all these religious ceremonies which I am performing every day, am I in right relationship with God? Is he drawing closer to me? My earliest encounter with Christ was big image of the Sacred Heart, I always felt called by Him, During classes and even at break I used to look at Him, the day His eyes met mine, He never left me, I still was a stauch Hindu, I wanted to overcome my karma by performing devotional rituals, but fear of death and reincarnation had overcome me, the words of Christ to Martha has set me free " I am the Ressurection", I followed Jesus right from I was 11, I was hated by my family and relatives for my faith in Him, but the Lord was gracious enough to take me into His fold when I was 16, I was baptized along with my Mom and maternal Grandmother into the Church. Jesus my Savior, my King my all in all changed my life, there is no meaning to life without Him.

I am a Catholic coming from an Austrian line known to have been Catholic since the year 830, when Irish monks evangelized the people of the part of central Europe where they lived, now known as Vorarlberg. My family´s name is written on the roof of the original church built by the community at that time. My wife and I have been living in Brasil since 1980, with most of our children and grandchildren, except for one son, his Brazilian wife and their two children, who live in New York.
Scott Hahn, your own convertion to Catholicism, reveald through your books, inspired us both, and your fresh vision of the Church made me redescover my traditional and ancient faith.
Why are ppl who are Christians only seeing this? we must be walking in truth and light, our church is in trouble but evil will not prevail Our Blessed Mother has her heel ready God is holding back his hand and ready to take us who believe

The Christian church needs a Holy Spirit revival. A revival would get the church back to Biblical preaching and authority. The church in the US has become lukewarm, and that is the Protestant and Catholics. Even Pentecostal churches have left the Bible for popular culture.

Was it "right and just" that the inheritance doming to me when my aunt passed away was "redirected" to the Church in Distress and I was merely "informed of it by someone who told me that she had passed and the location of the burial could be found in the newspapers" ??? I had taken care of my aunt (who raised me) for years, moved her into my home then found her a place to be near the river where she could walk to daily. My daughters and I visited her regularly. One day, she seemed to have been drugged...was totally disoriented, seemed frightened and angry...not herself at all. I took her to a restaurant (hoping she could then talk to me freely. I told the owner of the house where we were going (together with a relative of my aunt) for added safety and opennes to everyone (especially the home owner whom I suspected of drugging my aunt). Immediately the police called me & "told" me to immediately return my aunt to "that home". What could I do ? I just wanted my aunt to speak freely...away from the owner's staring eyes towards my aunt. WHY AND HOW COME THE "CHURCH IN DISTRESS" "INHERITED" ALL OF MY AUNT'S ASSETS. WHY WAS I TOTALLY IGNORED BY THE PRIEST AND OTHERS AT THE FUNERAL ??? IS THIS HOW WE TREAT EACH OTHER CHRISTIANS ??? I NEED ANSWERS !!!
It's very simple: "FEED MY SHEEP" is what clergy has been told to do. Not "WALK WAY AND LEAVE THE SHEEP TO DIE." This is the GREAT APOSTASY in my opinion. How much of the laity is in a state of Mortal sin worldwide because of this? There's no excuses not to have had mass or delivered sacraments because a few parishes did it. They simply chose to, fall away.
Don't know if Ralph covers it in his book, but satan was unleashed on Oct. 13, 1884 in the hearing of Pope Leo XIII. Since then, satan has had a free hand, and nobody outside the Catholic Church can comprehend it. This chaos is a prime element of God's Plan, so pray, hope and don't worry. Outside of that, there's little to be done, because mankind has forgotten what sin is.

When the Church is sick its illness flows onto the world. I pray the hierarchy will wake up to this truth and do something to heal the sickness, with truth and transparency. It is their duty of care to all concerned - especially to the good Lord.

The clergy are no longer the backbone of the Church. All the priests of my childhood and youth belonged to Religious orders, Dominicans or O M I and I find secular priests so detached in comparison.

Here is a very simple proof for the existence of God: 1) randomly pick any two points in space and name them 1 and 2; (2) the distance and direction between 1 and 2 are fixed forever (3) therefore the random causes the necessary. Point (3) cannot be explained rationally or mathematically. The only way of explaining how this happens is through the existence of God.
Jesus Christ said to his apostles the time of ascension that they are going to receive the Holy Spirit from heaven. It will be with them in all their life.
Ralph & Scott, I have been a Catholic Charismatic since 1970. What do you make of Francis? Francis of Assissi prophesied that the last pope would not be pastor but a Destroyer. Francis seems to fit the bill. If Francis is the False Prophet, Holy Spirit could ask us to leave or to witness to nominal Catholics about deeper life in the Spirit. So far I've been instructed by Holy Spirit to stay and witness as many are going to leave being disgusted by what is happening now. They will feel they have no religion now as they only had Churchianity and not an intimate relationship with the Lord? What do you guys think?
Meditation on Differences Between Spartan Warriors and Catholic Bishops
The above interview between well known convert to Catholicism and exegete Scott Hahn and Catholic author Ralph Martin aspires to show a crisis in the Catholic Church but is at most a relaxed tasting in a candy shop for the Catholic dinosaurs.
Let us give a bit of substance and spice to this lukewarm surfacing of these two elders of the Catholic Church. The current Catholic Church leaders’ - primarily Bishops' - comfort, conformance with the secularised world, wide spread homosexual drives mixed with prevalent cowardice is not a good indicator for the future. And the proportions have been lost. It is not a problem with one lost sheep out of 100 any more. A new parable is needed with an estimated 50% lost shepherds and very few good shepherds remaining to correct the lost ones and the laity has still very little to say about the crisis. It suffices that the laity puts money into the basket and secular government sponsors provide taxpayers’ funding to compromised Catholic schools and charity programs.
Let us use a balanced scorecard, of own design, to compare select current Catholic Bishops' spiritual warfare virtues with past Spartan Warriors' warfare virtues using the following rankings: 0 - bad; 0.5 - so so; 1 - good (This ranking system is loosely connected with Polish logician Łukasiewicz's three-valued logic system):

This is a game over for the Catholic Bishops and really the laity has to step up to avert an even deeper crisis. A book crafted by a dinosaur is not an equivalent of a Spartan shield and candy tasting, even in a reputable Catholic bookshop, is not going to develop Catholic Leonidases to peach a series of serious battles in the real absence of the Catholic Bishops to win the war.
Early church theologian Tertullian asked a question "What has Athens to do with Jerusalem?" that can be paraphrased in the context of the enclosed interview as follows: What has a Catholic candy tasting (over the last 50 years) to do with the Catholic spiritual warfare at hand?
Towards the end of his intellectually prolific life St. Thomas Aquinas received a grace from God and stated: “The end of my labors has come. All that I have written appears to be as so much straw after the things that have been revealed to me” and “I can write no more. I have seen things that make my writings like straw.” Therefore, I ask you Catholic elders of Academia: Are you waiting to receive the above mentioned grace that St. Thomas Aquinas received? Is this half a century waiting of yours enough?

Why do I always get the feeling with Scott Hann, that his Christianity is all Bubbly & Fluff, nothing ever seems to be of 'Grave Concern' to him, it's like he just wants to by-pass reality / life and promote his Lovely Fluffy Life.
I might well be 100% wrong about him, but I have always thought he was like the Blind leading the Blind, in that he purposefully never talks about Global Events that very clearly Spell Danger.

I get the feeling that some of these converts see the Catholic Church as a massive market where the can generate mega money by writing books doing siminars and selling DVD's etc.
We know that we cannot generalise but take note of how many of the converts are complacent about Pope Francis' opinion about Homosexual unions.
