BABYMETAL belongs to a major Japanese entertainment agency, but they are not commercial. It is Amuse way, but they are competing on their own ability. I think it is right, "What the hell, it is" . Because BABYMETAL themselves says so. Martin Friedman once said in Japan, that "the guys, who can not dance, become to love metal music. But BABYMETAL has adopted dance. So no one can win." That was fun. Good choices for favourite bands (I replaced Pink Floyd and Led Zeppelin CDs in my car with BABYMETAL CDs). Valentina in red likes Dream Theater ... have you had her react to 'Tales of the Destinies' yet? That would be interesting.

A live BABYMETAL concert might fully convert both of you. : ) I credit bands like Pink Floyd, King Crimson, etc., combined with Japanese Rock 'n' Roll bands like Shonen Knife, SCANDAL and Stereopony with getting me ready to appreciate BABYMETAL when they arrived on the scene. You might want to check out 'From Dusk Till Dawn' and 'Tales of the Destinies'. They're both pretty progressive.
You should introduce them to Su's videos when she was at the School of Acting, Hiroshima especially when she performed with her sister as Tweens! FYI, Two of Su's grandparents are survivors of the A-Bomb attack on Hiroshima!!
