A myth that's been going around for years, Larry was playing the banjo on this song. There is a video on TH-cam showing them in the studio laying down this track.

@@yrulooknatme I just now looked it up again on Google was posted by Kagfana on Nov. 12, 2011 listed as Steppe wolf Snowblind Friend ( with lyrics ) but there are no lyrics that I have ever seen. Thumbnail photo shows John playing acoustic guitar, while wearing a white muscle man shirt. Hope that helps.

The footage of SNOWBLIND FRIEND in the studio was a promo recorded at the same time as a promo for SCREAMING NIGHT HOG. Richard Podolor (co-producer) played a sitar on the actual recording of SNOWBLIND FRIEND. Larry is seen playing one of John's clear Lucite Ampeg Dan Armstrong guitars in the NIGHT HOG promo. Again, not what was used on actual recordings.
